I do miss drying a Tundra, these fords they have us driving now are junk, everyone of them has a check engine light on, make all sorts of noises, and dont even drive that good are are less then 3 years old. The last place I worked gave me a Tundra to drive it had 320K+ miles on it, and ran better then these new fords. if I ever win the lottery I will probably buy a Tundra.

This did not age well... 65k miles and 3.5 years later, and my ZR2 is worth just as much as what I bought it for lol

2011 LIMITED, full leather, wood grain, smog delete.

has 250k now and weird brake problems, shakes like a rig with bad rotors but I just replaced them all and still shakes. If I drill the brakes it doesnt even slow down. Probably need an abs controller

FUNNY!

I get unsolicited offers for my Blue Gasser w/ the goofy "spare in the bed" set-up. I'm contemplating selling it for MORE than I paid for it...again...FUNNY!

If I sell it, I will probably get a 2022 Tacoma Pro in Monster Green with an actual MANUAL GEAR-BOX! And that's why I'd get a Toyota...it's got an actual clutch and manual 6 speed! Remember those "clutch cancel" buttons? It's got that, too!

Checked on the Tacoma and I got a place that will sell me one at Retail/No Mark-Up...NICE! The one thing that doesn't seem right? It's still gonna be around $52K out the door with all the California taxes & crap!
And, again, for a Taco...!?

Shiiiiiiiiit.

We're getting into the kind of territory where ya might just want to get a Raptor and get it over with! Grinning

My thoughts exactly! Most likely a wheel bearing or both. Might wanna get that replaced before your wheel decides to divorce your pickup.

Toyota vs "American brands" - Tied with F-150 for 1st place of most American made. Not even half the parts/materials used in a Silverado/Sierra are made in America. Why did we bail them out again??

EDIT: To keep this post short, I just did full size trucks and cut out the mid-size trucks. Colorado/Canyon were tied in 2nd with 66% US/Canadian content, and Tacoma was 4th just behind the Ram 1500 with 60% US/Canadian content. Nissan Frontier was tied with Titan in 5th with 50% US/Canadian content.
The New C8 Vette has them all beat as far as parts made in America

Now I am just trying to figure out how I can bring my iron horse along!Tongue

The Ranger and Cherokee are also at the top of the list.

I've had a few Toyota trucks. My first new truck ever, a 1985' "1 Ton" yeah riiight.... Laughing I wish they never changed, that one had a 22R motor and 5 speed manual. I loved that truck, until it got stolen..Angry

I'm enjoying my "new to me" 2017 TRD Off Road

My 03' was a good truck until my son shortened it for me

I had a 1990 with a 6 that was ok until until it blew a head gasket and seemed to go downhill from there.

But for Badass nothing touches my 2000 Tundra. It'll be hitting 350K miles in the next couple weeks and has been an amazing truck. I wish they still made this exact same truck, same everything. Same size, same engine, same trans, same price...Laughing It hauls ass, tows my trailer, carries the kayaks, rarely breaks and when it does it's cheap to fix.

I love Toyotas. I'm on my 2nd Tacoma and it was the best decision that I ever made, after having a bunch of GM trucks prior. On this one I wanted the double-cab and the "long bed" and I think it was the right move. I use every inch of space when we go on trips etc.
