Pretty sure all WRX/STI/BRZ are still built in Japan, my wife's 2016 was.

I was under the impression that only Outback/Impreza are assembled in the states.

Personally, I'd rather my Tundra was 100% made in Japan. The quality of worker is so much better there than here.

If I wanted a truck built by a alcoholic, pill popping, American... I'd buy a Chevy. I buy Toyota for their quality standards.

If America doesnt like that, then do something about it. But as long as this country drinks more beer than water and most of it is being prescribed opiates at a alarming rate, I'd rather not buy American.

So if something is made in America then it was built by a plant full of alcoholics/pill poppers? What a shitty statement. You guys aren't ok with people drinking but you might be ok with low wages/border slave labor? All you have to do is slap "built in Japan" on it and you guys think it'll run forever....hahaha

At least my Tundra will kick your Colorado's ass all the while pulling down 13.9 mpg...

Nice looking Tundra!!

Next time you need tires, ditch the Nitto Trail grapplers and get some Cooper STT Pro’s. You’ll thank me later.

With the crappiest interior of any truck on the road. Don’t even get me started on the resale value on a GM. You’re whip will be worth a 1/4 of what you paid for it in 3 years.

Personally, I'd rather my Tundra was 100% made in Japan. The quality of worker is so much better there than here.

I guess it all depends on luck. I’m one of those car/truck guys that buys something new every few years and usually of varying brands because I like to have the experience of driving different vehicles before I hit the old folks home. I honestly am not too concerned where they are made. I have had a few German SUV’s and don’t associate them with Hitler nor Toyota’s with Pearl Harbor.

I have owned 2 Fords, 1 Chevy and 1 Ram trucks and litterally beat the shit out of them in my remodeling work and hauling bikes etc. probably over a period of 12 years with the 4 trucks. Never had one of them leave me stranded and other than basic maintenance I never spent a dime on repairs.

I had never owned a Toyota truck before and I must admit the newer model Tacoma’s were catching my eyes when I would see them. Well I’ve had mine about 30 months now and a little over 38K Miles. It has been to the dealer 5-6 times for various warning lights. Minor crap but stuff that is aggravating when u have to take the time to take it in. I must say I do enjoy beating the loaner cars but it’s still not worth the hassle. The truck itself drives fine and looks awesome but I’m really disappointed with the comfort/interior quality. All 4 of my American made trucks were far superior with interior comforts. The Toyota is a bunch of plastic crap without any intention of making it look nice. I tried to get a personalized plate that said “Japqrap” but was turned down. So I’m not sure Japan is immune to the opioid/drinking epidemic. The little guys are probably getting every bit as shitfaced as us Americans based on what I’m driving.

I’m keeping my eyes open for a Raptor, going back to Ford for awhile. Overpriced...YES! But at least I’ll be driving something with a motor in it and not a bunch of squirrels on a treadmill. My Tacoma is gutless.
One nice thing is the Toyota does have a excellent resale value.

Clearly you haven't been in many trucks. I've driven tons of different trucks, from compact to commercial. The Colorado is a firm average interior wise, and your fucking nuts if you believe otherwise. And ya might wanna check the resale, the Colorados are holding their value pretty damn well.

That’s why the 22RE’s regularly pushed 400k+ and could do so on the gnarliest of roads.

Honda builds hundreds of thousands of cars in Ohio every year that win countless quality awards. I have many family and friends that work for Honda in Marysville Ohio. They must think pretty clear between all of their pill poppin and beer drinking.

Step out of your bubble and don't believe everything you hear on CNN.

For all the complaints about the Tundra’s small bed size, here’s what I love about it...

It fits a dirtbike diagnoly perfectly so that you dont have to put any pressure on the tie downs. Saving fork seals. And worry free leaving the bike in the bed for extended periods.
