There's a nice payoff to this question. Smile

I watch it every week on Media Zone. They got our American asses kicked as far as coverage goes.

I've always luved Euro GP's on dirt & pavement and have followed it closely in Cycle News for the last 30 yrs.....

Does anyone remember my "Stephan Everts is King" posts that I use to get blasted for by the idiots who are clueless? lol

I don't know when it's on but if I did, I'd watch it. I like motocross, period. I don't care if the racers are Americans or Euros or aliens, I like watching the racing. Tons of new talent coming from across the pond.

Every weekend when I go riding I pretend I am in a GP.

Here I am at the Spanish GP

I could not catch Junior though.

Been downloading them. I'd watch on Mediazone but I'm a Mac user and haven't gotten around to putting my tiny Windows install back on yet, since there's only two things I ever used it for anyway. Grinning

Since I first met Roger De Coster at the British G.P in '77. Supercross is great , the nationals are awesome but for atmosphere you can't beat a G.P.
Thousands of crazy Brits blowing air horns , waving flags and hanging over the fence. At the British G.P at Farleigh Castle one year (1989) we were all stood lining the fence along a super rough straight . When Thorpy was coming past we'd pull the fencing back a few feet so he could ride on the smooth stuff and when Geboers came past we'd push it forward a few feet so he had to ride straight through the gnarliest bumps you can imagine. You could tell where DT was on any part of the track 'cos of the roar of the fans and the blasting horns.
Geboers had talked shit about Thorpe the weeks leading up to the race but Thorpe handed him his ass that day and the next week at Namur and went on to get the title.

Phew ! Sorry 'bout that . getting a big dose of nostalgia over here!

Media Zone with laptop linked to 52" LCD HD TV. Best outdoor mx footage available and LIVE MXoN every year.

The anouncing is lame but the camera work is far superior to the us nationals coverage.

I loaned my '89 KX 500 to Jo Martens who was a top ten GP rider back then for the last Hollister 500 GP that year and the atmosphere was remarkable, especially being in the pits where it was so laid back.

It was Kees VanDerVen's BD that day as well and every rider was gracious to him.

I know back then it didn't feel so hurried and pressured racing those GP's compared to the yrs I wrenched for a National racer.....GP riders seemed more like they were all best buds on and off the track.

I don't know if the years since has changed the atmosphere, but I only follow the GP scene thru whatever is here and thru my Cycle News's...

Think Larry's on to something GuyB........

I had no idea you could watch them live.. Any time someone posts a GP video, I usually watch and enjoy it!

Wish some top N/A riders would run the series, would make it a little more watchable for me.

been a mediazone subscriber since the beginning . i watch live as much as i can . live mx on the internet is the shit . announcer sucks but you get crazy fast tracks , 40 minutes and no commercials , live timing ... its a rather pleasant race experience i must say . when the mxdn rolls around i am as giddy as a school girl .

The GP's provide the only outdoor MX racing this time of year to watch, once the nationals start I generally loose a little interest in them, but always keep the GP scene at the very least on the peripheral of must see tv.

The GP series has provided our series with some great riders and I enjoy seeing them come up through the ranks.
