I have a 20 KTM 450 and was wondering if anyone could refer me to someone or company doing this KYB insert conversion kit and also the shock revalve to match. I’m located in Ohio but don’t mind shipping anywhere in the US. Thanks

I believe Enzo Racing is doing it and the guy has a lot of knowledge and experience over KYB set up

I know Enzo has done them.

There was a set done by Corey at Protune in the for sale section a while back, I think he’s out of Ohio.
Enzo would be a great choice as well.

ProTune is in Ohio and has been doing these conversions for a while at a reasonable price. I’ve never tried them but heard nothing but good things.

Active ride suspension down in Florida. Matt did mine about 3 years ago and loved it.

I did the mx tech mid valve, so far it's really good, fairly cheap option.

Why conversion? 99% of Vitards swears that the air fork on Ktm is the best ! Lol

I bought a used set of WP forks with KYB inserts already installed by TBT Racing for my '19 KTM 350sxf. Best money I ever spent. Great performance, but TBT's customer service was lacking....called and e-mailed asking about spring rates, but got no response.

Johnny Weisman at The Ride Shop in Arizona. He used to be at TBT Arizona. He did mine and they are Awesome!

Enzo did my 19 350 and did an awesome job. They use the Technical Touch Lugs which is much better than machining the already light OEM Lugs like a lot of the shops do. Pretty well priced too!

Anyone gone half way? KYB damping in one fork, AER spring fork retained on the other side?

I’ve been building complete replacement forks for customers so they can keep them when they sell their bike to recoup some of the cost or move to the next bike.

Are the stock forks that bad?

I have 2019 FC 350 with 25 hours and the forks are not that bad.........they have gotten better with time and playing with air pressure and clickers. A bit of a PIA. Compared to my Yamaha SSS suspension, the WP is not even close out of the box. Still, quite usable, but again, not at the top of the pile. What I find is there a lack of plushness, and the feedback from the front tire is very different with air vs spring. On top of these two issues, is the extra work involved. My SSS KYB was all set with a few clicks after breaking them in, and I never felt a need to change anything. The WP needs me to have my air pump handy, and a screw driver nearby every time I ride.

They are only very bad when you ride a well set up fork back to back(KYB, SHOWA, Cone Valve). If you never have ridden a great set of forks the AER are good.

I didn't know Johnny had moved on from TBT. Is Ride Shop his own? I've had two setups from him and they were really good for me (KYB conversion and TAC to SFF conversion).
