Blame the awesome sport of motocross, where anything can happen, a big crash and a first turn pile up can ruin any favorites chances. But that is Motocross and it happens!!!

Can't blame Dungey
Can't blame Barcia
Can't blame RV
Can't blame Tomac

There is no blame. Team USA did great! Second best team in the world today with a huge crash and a first turn pile up. But those are a part of our sport

What a day!

I really wish we could truly have a world championship. Today was awesome to watch.

Dungey stands no chance next year with KRoc and Tomac moving up. Sorry Ryan...

Blame Belgium for getting better starts & putting in better finishes.
They were great today & deserved to win it.

I'm not sure the word is "blame" but I can point to the fact our National tracks have strayed from the roots of the sport and are too heavily influenced by SX IMHO. I love SX and cannot wait each year for A1 to roll around but come Hangtown I want to see 100 percent MOTOCROSS and don't want to be reminded of SX until the following year.

If we lose next year in Latvia maybe things will change. Justin Barcia just said during the press conference that the tracks are tougher here......I rest my case.

I haven't watched yet Regis but you are correct and I echo your sentiments 100%. Its motocross, anything can happen, but at the end of the day, and on that day, the best team will win. USA did great given their circumstances and Belgium deserves respect for their performance, no doubt about it.

I don't know, but Team USA owes me 4 hours of Sun AM sleep. Good racing, Belgium earned it. I feel bad for Tomac, but you'll never be a champion if your afraid to hang it out and crash and fail......valiant effort!! Not sure what happened to Dungey, thought he had a little more in him. That Caroli guy seems kinda fast, sort of consistant too. I thought USA was the fastest in the world?........So much for american motocross exceptionalism. I'm sure all the euro keyboard mx fanboys are going to be having fun the next couple days.

You truly can never really tell who has the fastest riders in the world based on one day.

This is what we get. And today, Belgium has the three fastest, most consistent riders on the planet.

Congrats to them for pulling through, having a little luck (which every team needs every year) an putting it together!

I will blame myself. Obviously I was not yelling loud enough at my computer. Next year I promise a better performance from myself.

That's correct, anyone who has raced in an annual event knows that, and can understand the immense pressure of being judged based on ONE day's performance. I give it up to all the participants, today, the Belgium's proved to handle the pressure well and perform amazingly. KROC too has proven he can handle pressure and rise to the occasion on days like this.

Blame Feld, and the fans, for supporting supercross and having US guys focus 50% of their time on it.

Better starts ? Hmm, not in race 2 I guess because CD and JV were resp. 40th and 34th in the first turn and we lost our best rider after 10 seconds in the final race.
But you guys have no excuses and are good sportsmen, however!!! Cool

German bratwurst apparently.

Regis: You always need some luck, but we lost our best rider in the final moto, and Van Horebeek came from 27 to 7 on a bike he hasn't raced on all year.
Ken did a huge part by going after Bobry, Nagl, dungey and Paulin in race 3.
Everybody needs luck, but great ride from our Belgian Riders.

I was thinking of the last moto and Barcia's bad start.
With CD out of it at the beginning of that last moto(throw away) - De Dycker had a pretty good start.
Close near Dungey - I think he may have even passed Dungey early on.
De Dycker having a far better start then Barcia in that 3rd race really put Belgium in a great place to salvage a win even with CD out.Starts were important. De Dycker was on the gas though and rode great in that 3rd moto all the way until the end.
Even got Nagle right there on that last lap.
