Did someone buy Baggett out of his contract with Aldon Baker at the end of 2012? Was it Ken Roczen? Aldon made mention of it in MX Nation.

KTM seems like a good fit for him. He should have a tremendous amount of confidence heading into 2018. No changes in his program for '18, he'll be a threat.

It talks a little bit about it the latest MX Nation video. Makes it sound like Villopoto bought him out.

If I had to guess. He was the "next thing" coming off the 250s and supposed to be the man. As Ricky mentioned in one of his interviews some guys like him don't want to show there comp. what they are doing or give them in edge going into the weekend. Maybe Ryan was the same with Blake coming off the 250s like he was.

I'd agree but RV brought Kenny in right before he moved to 450's and was willing to train with his competition. Kind of contradicts your theory.

I definitely remember some animosity between Baggett and AC even before Adam was ever pro, and obviously AC and RV were good buddies so I wonder if that had something to do with it?

I get what youre saying, but i dont see how he was the "next big thing" when his supercross results were never really there. Outside of his daytona wins and the occasional win inside the stadiums, he never really put together a great complete season indoors.

Wasn't Bagget the one running the Golden Child/Baby Jesus slur at AC?

AC and RV were buddies.

yeah I know AC and Bagget weren't friends, AC"s first SX win I think davalos got 2nd and bagget 3rd so pro circuit swept the podium. AC stopped on top a jump to celebrate and davalos rolls up to congratulate AC while bagget just rolls past them. it would have made a for a great picture all 3 of them lined up on top the jump celebrating 1,2,3 sweep. but bagget got 3rd so it wasn't happening lol

So if I understand correctly, Aldon got paid the same, but trained one less dude. Smart man putting that in his contracts.
