It was posted a while back, that TLD KTM rider Brian Moreau would run the #104

Now I am reading Penrite Honda rider Luke Clout will be #104
https://adbmag.com.au/editorial/luke-clout-signs-with-penrite-honda/?fb…

So what # will these riders be running in the 2020 SX Series?

On the home page "Silly season 3" B Moreau is listed as #104, L Clout not listed under the Penrite team yet

GuyB does not assign the #’s they race with. The AMA or Feld does.

He got KR correct. Are the numbers 100 to 111 reserved for Euros or GP riders

Just was wondering if any of the insiders knew which rider was actually going run the #104. Did not need a history lesson.

By the way this guy did the #104 proud and earned a #1

Oldblood go for it if you want to make a vital poll about the 104.

Like I said was just curious about who (Moreau or Clout) will be running 104 in SX in 2020.

Moreau will have the 104. The team photoshoot is already done. They also filmed their Supercross TV segments.

My God, who fucking cares? It's a number. Is the person who runs it this year gonna be faster than the other guy? Jesus Christ, when did motocross, and this website become the "Dungeon & Dragons" of 2019??

No offense, but if you don't trust that Steve got it right, why would you trust Random Internet Guy from Vital® to get it right?

As much as Ben or Ping might have some love for the number, the AMA is the one who dispenses the digits for racing here.

Remember Fredrik Noren running it last year? Smile

Why? RJ's 24. Did he ask Dylan Ferrandis if that was all right?

While all of the riders mentioned above are brilliant and accomplished racers and men, and I really mean that, there is only one Roger De Coster. I humbly believe that he has been a founding father of our sport and continues to be a true legend. Of course there are many others that deserve recognition. But he is among the greatest leaders in our great sport.
I feel that the 104 should be retired in honor of this. I don't blame the rider given his number, good luck to him. Perhaps he could request another.

The AMA sets aside numbers 100-110 for foreign riders racing here in the U.S. The 104 (which I believe Roger last used in 1977) should get retired now? Besides being somewhat impractical (removing one of the ten numbers), I guess I don't see the reason for doing it...other than it being a great period for U.S. moto fans.

Maybe we should retire number 1 in his honor, too? Wink
