Who are the best Motocross Brothers in History?

Edited Date/Time 9/20/2020 5:13am
So i recently made this video about two brothers going bar to bar 125 racing and it got me wondering about who the greatest pair of moto brothers are...what do you guys think?
Obviously James and Malcolm have got to be near the top, but Christophe and Seb Pourcel were pretty good as well...and now we've got Hunter and Jett Lawrence to add in the mix.
What do you guys think? Who are the best bros in MX history?

This is a loaded one. Trying to even think of brothers that raced at the pro level is a hard one. Someone already pointed out the Martins, the Vohland's, who else?

Not Really sure what Sebastian pourcel did in his racing career but those two have to be close to the top

Jeff and Mike Alessi are floating around up there as well

Kinda cool to think about all the moto bro’s lining up against each other imagine watching a race between the Vohlands, Martins, Alessis, Stews, Laws, Pourcels etc and the overall winners get a chunk of cash and of course bragging rights

I think this hypothetical race Would come down to the vohlands martins and pourcels

if they keep it up the Masterpool family may be able to have a shot at this.

Hahn brothers were/are pretty fast

They were Brothers, just a Lot of years apart.

I don't think any other brother combination can remotely compare to the Geboers, between their racing achievements, Sylvains's Team Managerment ( Eric was part of that) accomplishments, and Eric's race promotion / organisation efforts.

There was a third brother, I think, that raced at the International and National level with some success.

I think the Stewart Bros are the only duo with major championship titles. That's got to count for something.

The Pourcel's won GPs on the same day: MX1 for Seb and MX2 for Christophe in Faenza 2007. Also has to count for something.

Others:
Alessi
Martin
Lawrence
Wharton
...?

There were 3 of them, Damien aswell. He wasn't a "high hitter", but on occasion all three of them scored points in the same 500cc moto, something that never happened again.

No, pretty sure thats a one off, and they have an elder brother who is decent too, but never raced seriously, at Skegness beach race, Ben's first race on a 250 F, all 3 of them were in the top 6 for a short time.

Sylvain and Eric Geboers for me too, though.

Maybe not the fastest brothers, but possibly the fastest identical twins.

Chuck and his late brother Ron Sun, both rode for factory Honda during their careers.

Don’t forget the Villopoto Bros. Also the Dungey Bros, they can ride and wrench.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Jeff and Larry Ward.
If they were actually bros, that would be quite a pair.

The Pourcel's also have that distinction.

I guess there is no font for sarcasm, but I agree with what you are saying! Larry did mention Jeff was one of his favorite riders growing up because they shared the same last name.

MX Brothers go bar to bar!
Back in the 80’s we had Mark and Justin Banks.
Or something slightly different Paul & Mark Millard

Then you have the second generation of Millards

Then on the sidecar theme you have the Bax brothers.
