How's the crowd looking? How many lifted golf carts with 24" gold rims?

Whitney was hit by a TON of rain last night and early this morning
the road into the track has been closed since midnight last night...
The Active8 rig has been waiting in line all day to get in with maybe a hundred vehicles..
vehicles were having a hard time getting up the hill out of the track also
I came back into Hillsboro,, call it a day and try again tomorrow
rain quit about 10am,,, no sunshine but should be drying now
they think they can get the vehicles into the track before dark[/quote:3d5ahu03]

The word is that they cancelled mini bike practice today because it was too muddy. Apparently due to a rain storm that blew through on Sunday eve. into Mon. they cancelled all practices on Mon.
Should be interesting tomorrow.

Everyone was able to practice today, mini bikes just went later in the day once the track took form.
Around noon the sun came out, and turned out to be a great day.
We'll have video up in the morning at vurbmoto.com and racerxfilms.com
A few photos from today are up in our practice report on vurb.
you know some pros racing?
Here is the results page. I don't know about live results. http://www.lakewhitneymx.com/results_v2 ... sp=&s=&e=3
Working great!
Attendance is down (no surprise) as there is plenty of space and parking through out the pits.
Another example is that there are less qualifiers this year than last
250T's are doing some damage and some grumbling has begun over it
The usual fast ones are still fast

Could the 250T results prompt a second early season AMA decision change if enough of the right people grumble loud enough???
GREAT! Its about damn time a smoker had the upper hand.
Now if they'd just allow a 450cc 2-stroke in the other classes too...
He's entered in 4 classes, if that helps.
Pit Row

Thanks. I was looking at the live results link above and realized the only current(2008) info was the live results. The link Cygnus posted is current.
Sweeeeeeet! Thanks for the update!

He won his heat in the 12-13 mod a few minutes ago. Hasn't faced Politelli Savatgy or Nichols yet, they were in the other heat but he won his ahead of Epstein and Mcswain by 6+ seconds ( bell was in his heat but it looked like he had some issues coming from behind back to 6th with some blazing lap times)
They were flying. Waiting for the 3rd heat.
It could be the track conditions. They smooth it out every so often. But, that may not be it, they may be just that fast...
Well, there's a blast from the past
