He used to be a fairly regular poster here back in the day. He’s had an interesting career for sure.

Am I the only one who laughed out loud throughout the show? Guy is hilarious! I kept watching to see if he was picking up a adult beverage. Ha
Great show!
Ping and GL are good, Thanks for doing the show.

That line about Mitch had me howling! He is the real deal. I'll bet he's got even more.

You know it's true / funny when GL and Ping (who both rode for Mitch) started laughing uncontrollably. Smile

If you listened to the Whiskey- Reed shows, you would of heard Reedy saying that ‘every team needs a Dave O’. Pretty good testament for the guy right there and this show backs that up.
Very entertaining, thank you.

A lot of funny stories. Dave is a honest talker, when he says I talk from experience. I can totally relate. I had a similar deal on the world’s strongest hhg drill rig, office types trying to run the show, when they know nothing. We designed and built hhg drill rigs, mud rigs, plow gas lines In using a 28 cyl. Locomotive, 16 divisions of construction,Co. Is from Wi. I busted out laughing when he talked about Buehl. What do they know About a Mx bike, riding a atv or trail bike in a corn field in Wisconsin. And that cold in Wi. Is real cold not like mammoth, true. It,s a real nut chiller. I never heard about Buehl making a Mx bike. I did hear Eric was a brite guy. I would guess money was the reason, the stall was in place. I bet the last day at some of his jobs, where great comedy. I know I could’ve ended some jobs better. A nice hr women and the owners wife, standing over me. Repeatedly saying we can do this and that for you, to stay. I got sick of it, I told them enough times I,m moving on. So I tell them maybe we can work something out, if both of you get your thumbs under your panties and start wiggling out of them. They turned red, silence for 2 seconds, then ok you can leave now.

Listening as I’m typing this, Dave is smart and funny as hell. Awesome show! I thought his view on east/West coast 250 supercross was interesting.

The last 1 1/2 - 2 hours were pure gold. Dave O went straight scorched earth on people...."I'd stop. Then I'd burn rubber outta there."

Loved it...glad the show is back! Dave reminded me of Lunniss but without the giant ego. There sure were some characters back in the day!

Fantastic episode!! The one thing that has me stumped, and maybe someone can refresh my memory: he mentions (but doesn’t name) Cagiva’s main offroad guy who went on to be a good road racer on a Ducati. Can’t remember anyone taking that path...

I don't think there are many people that will admit openly about mistakes or failures without prompting or reason.

It had to be Duane Summers. He was part of that era of Cagiva desert racers and later went on to road racing.

A couple of years ago I got my hair cut by THE Mike Healy and he told me stories .....best one was about when he punched Stanton in the face for blocking him & ruining his title hopes in the GP's. I didnt want to get out of that barber chair at all....... I suggested he should do a career podcast with Matthesand a few months later it happened!!! I figure I'm at least 10% responsible 😂😂
