There is an Online Poll going on at racer x, I thought it was an interesting question. My answer was Deano, I think he deserves another shot at the factory level. What do you all think?

Mookie. Lots of good people on that list but when it boils down to it I think Mookie has the potential to be the most exciting on a 450 of all the people on that list.

At this point over 40% of pollsters agree with you...as do I. Second place so far is James...which I feel, would be a miracle to happen.

I'm a Stewart fan...meaning I appreciate both riders. I'd love to see them both on factory equipment, but I also am not blind to the hard cold truth that James' ship has probably sailed already. I'd rather see James pack it in and live life as a businessman, father and husband to his wife than for him to come back and get seriously hurt again. I want to see Malcolm step out of James' shadow at least enough to be his own man and do his own thing. I think he has tons of potential, and has the "potential" to really come into his own on the right 450 machine.

Did I miss something with Brayton? I thought he was riding a factory 17 for motoconcepts?

Hard to choose between Dean and Mookie. But I went with Dean because I think with having someone like James as a brother, who's big in the industry, Malcolm will be set with support to be able to go racing. Dean has shown that he's willing to ride for nothing and hasn't shown any signs of giving up and I admire that.

So when do you start analyzing a rider by what they're currently doing compared to what they have done in the past. I mean the Cleveland Browns won the championship in 1964.... and they've basically sucked ass since Silly

James is probably the most famous guy in all of motocross right now. One of the biggest names and brings in the biggest amount of fans in the pit. Just look at the lineups at his rig this year even tho he sucks

What's best for the sport is to have him line up

Imo

James is no longer the most famous rider and his lines were shorter than Dungey and Roczens this year. His time has come and gone.

For sure but he doesn't have nearly the upside as Dean or Malcolm.

I have to pick JS7. If this is the last shot I get to see him race, then I want him to get the ride. I will see plenty of Mookie and Deano in the future. Brayton has a ride, and Weimer isnt in the same league as the rest of these guys, he will need to wait until a ride becomes available or take a lesser offer.

I would rather see one more year of JS7 than any other rider, with the one condition that he doesnt continue to quit during a race. Regarding Deano, its very sad bc he is a great kid, but I feel that if he gets a ride, he wont last more than 3-4 races. I love Mookie as well but he should have raced outdoors. He gambled and now his future in a holding pattern.

I voted Wilson. I think he has tons of potential and hope he gets a ride.

Im going with dean. Sitting out the nationals was mookies decision and i feel like it bit him in the ass. Js7 had his shot last year and didnt use what he still had to its full potential. I know the concussion messed him up, but i didnt feel like he came back from his break in tip top shape like he could have. 18 months off was ALOT of time to stay healthy and put in alot of work on the bike and in the gym

I vote dean, he's out there giving it a go, still riding without given a bike.

Malcom second, only because his boneheaded move to sit out the outdoors to prep for 450 SX and we see how that panned out.

Then James.

Then Brayton or Weimer, I just don't feel they are factory bike worthy, amazing riders but more of satellite team rider in my opinion.

Anyone but James. I'm sorry I understand the draw he brings to the sport and the positives that come along with it as far as ratings and sponsors but if you think he makes it through the first round or 2 your crazy. Its not going to do the sport any good for teams and outside sponsors to dump money into him to only get burned. Those outside sponsors will only fall for that once and not come back.

Those points aside, I personally don't feel like listening to all the hype and build up for him to pull off halfway through heat 1. Take the time to YouTube what his career has been like since those bright spots early on. It's a disaster and each year gets worse by leaps and bounds. Let him ride off into the sunset and stop treating James like that miserable relationship you were in that years later you only remember the good times, start thinking it wasn't that bad, and now you want her back.

I am wishing Deano a healthy and successful season as the others. Dude hasn been the same since the hit from Eli and the shady deal he took. I was hoping he would have made it work with KTM.

I voted Dean.

I'd like to see James pick a bike he likes and do his own thing. Being responsible for a team could potentially light a fire under his ass like it did for Chad.

I don't understand why people put Dean Wilson above Jake Weimer. We're talking supercross primarily whether we like that or not and Jake has a 250 SX title. He also has gotten on the box in 450 supercross. He's been plagued with injury similar to Dean but he put in a good rebuilding season this year in Supercross.
