There is an Online Poll going on at racer x, I thought it was an interesting question. My answer was Deano, I think he deserves another shot at the factory level. What do you all think?
That being said 2014 was the last time he was half decent
I'm a Stewart fan...meaning I appreciate both riders. I'd love to see them both on factory equipment, but I also am not blind to the hard cold truth that James' ship has probably sailed already. I'd rather see James pack it in and live life as a businessman, father and husband to his wife than for him to come back and get seriously hurt again. I want to see Malcolm step out of James' shadow at least enough to be his own man and do his own thing. I think he has tons of potential, and has the "potential" to really come into his own on the right 450 machine.
The Shop
yet
What's best for the sport is to have him line up
Imo
I would rather see one more year of JS7 than any other rider, with the one condition that he doesnt continue to quit during a race. Regarding Deano, its very sad bc he is a great kid, but I feel that if he gets a ride, he wont last more than 3-4 races. I love Mookie as well but he should have raced outdoors. He gambled and now his future in a holding pattern.
Pit Row
Malcom second, only because his boneheaded move to sit out the outdoors to prep for 450 SX and we see how that panned out.
Then James.
Then Brayton or Weimer, I just don't feel they are factory bike worthy, amazing riders but more of satellite team rider in my opinion.
Those points aside, I personally don't feel like listening to all the hype and build up for him to pull off halfway through heat 1. Take the time to YouTube what his career has been like since those bright spots early on. It's a disaster and each year gets worse by leaps and bounds. Let him ride off into the sunset and stop treating James like that miserable relationship you were in that years later you only remember the good times, start thinking it wasn't that bad, and now you want her back.
I'd like to see James pick a bike he likes and do his own thing. Being responsible for a team could potentially light a fire under his ass like it did for Chad.
