Yes, lets make it harder. There's people who likes 4stroke noise, there's people (like me) who get goosebumps at listening a two stroke rippin' around a track.

Please, choose which is your most favourite noise from a motorcycle/dirtbike.

One per member.

Mine, and sorry it's not motocross related, is this one:

Ricky and Chad's 2005 250 supercross machines

(as much as i hate the 4-strokes sound, RV's 250f at the 2007 MXdN was unreal. you could hear his bike from anywhere, no matter where he was on the track.)

The 250 2-stroke factory Kawasaki which Stefan Everts raced in 1995.
That bike was build by the late Jan de Groot and I think Harry Nolte was his mechanic back then.
That's 2 bike professors right there.
That thing sounded like a 300cc, you could hear Everts coming by the sound of that bike.
I will never forget that sound.

the Geico Honda 250f's this year sound so crazy, revving soooo high. But maybe I'm too young to appreciate the sound of a 2 stroke...

A TZ125 coming on the pipe. Chambered two stroke twins are something else.

Back in the day, 1977, i used get hard over the buzzing of the group of "A" grade 80cc's or125's out on the track.

Any factory RM125... Vohland's slow CR125, RCs RM250, Bradshaw's '92 YZ250... LaRocco's KX500, Dogger's KX250, RJs '87 CR250... anybody who includes a 4stroke on this list should be banned for life

1987 Broome Tioga National, 125 practice at 9:45 in the morning. I swing the car door open at 15 years old and the obsession began. About 60 125s ripping up the long uphill by the highway, the sweet smell of 927 castor and race gas. The damp overcast sky making a beautiful contrast of rich dark soil on lush green grass with the smell of barbeque chicken mixed in the whole thing.. Dymond, Turpin, Tichenor, Warren, Cooper, Brooks, ect... Alright maybe a little more than the sound but you get the picture!

The sound of a 125 wrapping through the gears out of a corner WFO with a very competent pilot at the controls. The one positive aspect of Stewart's ability to check out so early on in most of his races was that I could hear his bike and his bike alone. I miss that sound...

... This was obviously destined to be a two-stroke thread. No one wanted to be the first guy to post a video of a fooper. Aside from engine noises, I love the sound of the chain roller when you're pushing your bike to your truck or garage or whatever. Or I love the sound of bikes starting up early morning at the track. Or any echo in some trees.

Similarly - 2002 Washougal, RC heading up Horsepower Hill at Washougal on a 250 followed by a group heavily populated by 450s with a nice 2 second gap between him and the pack after lap 1.

The buzz of a 80 pack in the hands of the top 80cc riders is awesome.

I love the sound of a raspy assed small bore so I bring to your viewing pleasure a 4 stroke that is Newmann approved. A 6 cylinder 250 Honda built with the precision of a watchmaker.
