If your were a Pro and you only had to race one championship series every season were you brought home the number plate for your team which one would you choose supercross or motocross? If I could do something like that I would stick to motocross.
Lock this one down.
The Shop
Nothing about sx appeals to me from a rider standpoint, I would hate riding those tracks, lol
I'd go MXGP over The Outdoor Nationals though just because I love to travel outside the US.

Motocross is, by definition, an outdoor sport that's (usually) run over natural terrain. Culturally, it's akin to road-racing for cars and bikes -- the circuits are usually in less-populated areas, and viewers can't see the entire circuit -- and it takes a relatively sophisticated fan to understand why it needs to be that way. It's not about sitting up in some bowl.
Supercross was never intended to be an extension of any of that. Instead, it panders to the unsophisticated fan. From Day One it's been a gimmick to move some semblance of the sport into urban areas where casual fans can "sit up high and see the whole track" while enjoying the comforts and amenities of an MLB/NFL facility. Never mind the Mickey Mouse circuits. Supercross fans just don't know the difference.
If they came up with a pitch-and-putt version of golf staged in stadiums (oh, and televised in prime time, let's not forget that), there'd be "Supergolf" suckers who think it's better than the Master's.
The best series on earth is MXGP.
Supercross just seems like the same track each week , excluding Daytona.
But as a pro for a living ..............it's all about the money
Outdoors on a 125!!
Man, that was an easy question!!! :D
World Speedway Championship
You get to visit new countries
Meet lots of different people
Race (the majority) of best riders
Ride more types of terrain
Get a proper off season
Potential to be a world champion
SX is fun, and its nice to have it during a period where we dont have much racing in genral to follow. But like Brownstone already said. It a diff sport marketed on getting the casual fans in a convenient seat. That's not what the sport is about for most of us.Unique tracks using the best natural terrain will always out trump an samey SX stadium IMO.
