Win or a podium, anything less and his chance for another title will be impossible.

I feel like either he still struggles with whatever was wrong at A1 and he´ll struggle again to break top 10, or he will be back to his usual self and end up on the podium.

I like Anderson, but I put him finishing 11th-15th. I strongly suspect an undisclosed injury.

They mentioned on pulp podcast that people saw Jason at the hospital holding his wrist just weeks before A1.

I don’t have enough information on what may have cause his A1 performance to give an accurate guesstimate. I would however love to see him on the podium.

After listening to him in interviews even before the race, you'd swear that No.1 plate is like an anchor. He's really struggling with the pressure.

MC ran that thing for years like it was his personal property. Once again, shows what a badass he was.

He wasn’t jumping the two doubles over the start straight this weekend. There looks to be some pretty gnarly rhythms at this Glendale track, if he wasn’t comfortable with the A1 track I can’t see him doing great this weekend. I think he’ll break top 10

I think this weekend will show us a lot about JA1. A lot of you guys are looking too much into one bad race in the mud at the beginning of the year.

Edit: He will finish on the podium

Him not doing the double double at A1 would corroborate the wrist injury theory...I hope it’s not true and that he’s up there in the mix for a podium though

This.

Has Jason ever delivered in the mud?

He was .075 seconds off of Tomac in Qualifying.

Top 3 if its dry next week.

I was listening to Pulp last night and Matthes kept saying..."hes not out of it, RV got 16th one year and still won the title."...

Well, RV won more races in that year than JA has (or maybe even will) win in his career...

It's over. Put a fork in him. Hes outta the series by round 5. Last year was a fluke.

I think he'll come out swinging and win this week. Not cause he's the fastest guy on the track, but because he will be the most determined after last week.

It makes total sense to me. Before last week your fantasy was based on last season. Now you see alot of guys who did great last year did bad or mediocre in A1, while guys who were mediocre or bad last season did good in A1. While at the same time track conditions were far from perfect. So you don't know which results were influenced cuz of the weather. Which results in alot of doubts and makes it pretty much impossible to realise how next race is gonna be..... Does that make sense?

Mud isnt a reason to go from 3rd to 14th. Andersons not the best guy out there but hes not a privateer level rider either. Anything outside a top 5 is unacceptable in any condition.

The dude is injured or something.

Dont give up hope. Like others said, RV has gotten terrible finishes and even didnt qualify for the main and still got the titles.
