Where & when did the term "booter" get started?

Not sure i can recall hearing it before the "Crusty Demons" era befell us.

Does any region, rider or track get credit for coining the term?

It derives from “Moon Booter” - which has been around forever. Like you get so high, you are headed to the moon.

You’re welcome.
