I went to A1 for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was shocked by the $30 parking fee at the stadium when I got there, and I would've turned around if I had more time to find parking that day. But for A2, I want to come in a little more prepared.

Where are some lots nearby to park that are reasonably priced? I don't mind walking a mile if it means I don't get screwed with an unnecessarily high parking fee.

Park in the yellow circle, i believe its either 10$ or maybe 15$..... Then just walk to the stadium, following the yellow line

Thank you so much! $10 is about what I'd expect to park somewhere.

Last time I went to a SX was in Indy. We found it simpler and cheaper just get a taxi from Hotel to Stadium. I don't remember the cost but I think 6 of us piled in the car to split cost.

Yep... And those bastards made the sign with the price at the booth so small that I didn't see it until I was already in line a few cars away from where you have to pay.

Pure greed. It's the stadium, too. Not FELD. Money is different things to different people, but nobody wants to pay $30 to park their damn car or truck.

If you park a little bit higher than the yellow circle early enough, it's free. There is on street parking in that estate... But you do have to walk 50 extra yards!

There used to be a large dirt lot next to Mc Donalds (haven't been in 6-7 years) Used to go and we would eat there before we walked in . Parking was $10

If you park on the lot next to Goldenroad Brewing it’s $20 and you get a $15 food/drink voucher for Goldenroad. Great deal if you’re going to grab a bite and drink sometime in the midst of the day.

I pulled up to the A1 parking booth (2020) on my Africa Twin and the gentleman said "$30". I laughed at him and said "you have got to be kidding me, for a motorcycle?" He said, "nope, it is the promoter that sets the price and gets the money for this one, car or motorcycle". I should have turned around, but did not. So it cost me and my buddy $60 bucks to park two bikes at a motorcycle race, what a joke.
Should have watched the race from home, just as I have done the past few years.

The good news is that we got $30 tickets at the box office after we parked (15 minutes before opening ceremonies).

We have parked on Rampart ST for over 30 years. You just have to get there early. It's legal and free.

Went to A1, brought my 3 year old son to practice. Paid the $30 to park nice and close as it was 11:30. I live close to the stadium so took him home after practice. They gave me a $30 refund at the exit! Couldn’t believe it. Just ubered back for the night show and ubered home after the race for $25 total. Still paid a price but couldn't believe the refund.

Define early. I got there for A1 at about 12:30 to watch practice/qualifying, but it was a long day by myself so I was thinking of getting there a little bit later this time.

If I were to get there at say, 3:00-3:30, would that be too late to find a spot?

My son and I went to Oakland supercross a few years back and parking was $40. I'm guessing the stadium competes with BART and jack up the price for people who don't know any better. You don't want to park on a side street in Oakland.

Now I buy NBC pass and watch from our couch.

Damn it. Secret's out. This is the best parking, period. We usually get there at 11:45 and get great parking on the second street on the right. Grew up in Anaheim and been parking over here since we high school when we'd sneak booze innand sit in the $2 nose bleeds and wellll.

Best part is you follow Rampart all the way through and it dumps you on Chapman, right at the on ramps for the 5 & 22 freeways. Avoid the Orangewood/57 nightmare.

For A2 I'd bet you'd be OK with 3 or 3:30. It is always way quieter than A1.

Interesting. I was thinking about going early, leaving and then coming back. But didn't want to have to pay for parking twice. Also, does the stadium allow re-entry?

Good to know - the whole thing seemed ridiculous. I honestly thought the parking attendant was joking when he said $30 please. Sorry FELD - F.U. Arte Moreno!

Parking for the Seattle supercross 3(?) Years ago was $40. I about crapped! I live in a pretty rural area, and I rarely pay anything to park at any kind of event around here.

I called ahead and they said no re-entry. Asked when we were there paying and the guy was cool and said they might help me out but no promises. when we went to leave the lady at the exit side had a register and was refunding cash. Thought no way in hell they would ever give money back! Since my dad and I both have a moto induced limp figured we’d have to park way in the back by the time we got back to the stadium. Thats why we ubered. Dropped us off fairly close! Kind of a win win

What about for re-entry once you've entered the actual stadium?

I've noticed when you park at some of these outside lots for a race, ball game, etc - they ask you if you are there for the game or race, or whatever event is going on that day at the stadium.

Do they gouge you for more money if you are there for the event ?

Hmm, I've been told by multiple parking attendants that its Feld that sets the price.

If you park in the industrial area on XXXXXXX it's 10 minutes walk to the entrance of the stadium, been doing it for years. It's free.

I'd tell you where but not going to spoil my parking spot
