Where to Find a Funmover

Hey guys, I have been trying to find a used Funmover, but all I can find is old ads on rvt or rvtrader. Do any of you know where I can find good current listings? Searching through Craigslist takes forever, and eBay doesn’t have good filtering options. I am ideally looking for a diesel Funmover, as those Ford V10’s are dogs.

I have a 16 Thor Outlaw with just 30k on it with some 2017 upgrades as in side and rear color HD cameras. Also, 3 recessed wheel chocks, built in air compressor, auto levelers, 2 new Optima coach batteries, lots of upgrades for a Moto guy. Just thinking about listing it on RV trader . Looking to get a class A . $ 69,900 buys it. It has the V10 ,and I certainly never felt it was a dog at all. Hauls my 7x14 with 6 bikes and 3 in the garage without any issues at all. If you have any interest,let me know— I’ll send you more details and pics

I have the dreaded rotator cuff surgery coming up in December and figured if I can sell everything I’ll start over again when I’m back to 100% and if nothing sells then I don’t have to bother buying new stuff 🤣

I agree the v10 boogies pretty damn good, I can cruise at 70mph no problem at all

I've seen a few of the 35 foot class C diesels in the NW for sale. I think Thor only made those a few years. I have the 2021 29j Outlaw with the new V8 and it rips! The V10's do the job but you have to absolutely ring them out. The new Godzilla V8 runs at much lower RPMS and pulls more like a diesel. I get 9.5 -10 MPG fully loaded and ripping through the Cascade mountains. We pretty much can't get out of Bend without climbing a mountain pass. . The 35 diesel Outlaw I saw Sold for around $100k. They're nice but have crazy paint/color schemes. They also don't have the cargo drop down bunks either which are killer when you are road tripping and can't unload but need the sleeping bay.

There’s something to be said for restarting -

After we quit trying to make it, pops got rid of the motorhome, trailer, and almost all the bikes. Went back to basics and just started racing local out of the back of the truck and the little box trailer. Ironically, in the 10 years we raced, the simple year was the most fun!

Probably going to be selling this soon or maybe after MXoN. Had to have it, then rarely used it. 2005 c5500 35c Duramax diesel with only 30k miles. Runs and drives great, just has a few little issues that any handyman can fix. Thinking $60k range…

Couch is loose from the floor, needs to be re-secured, panel behind driver is loose and needs re-attached. Elec step has been acting weird lately. All Small issues. Nothing major at all.

Have you lubed all the pivot points on your steps? I also had a C5500 gas 8.1 and it is an amazing RV and by using spray white grease every couple months it let the steps move. Only reason we sold it was my wife didnt like the bed location or we would still have it

Either way you go funmover is a PIA, do a motorhome and a enclosed trailer. Way more room and keep the dirty separated from the clean. I will be selling to upgrade a 2021 Coachman Freelander 27QB with the Chevy4500 drivetrain after the DesNations. Will be priced somewhere in the 60s without the enclolsed trailer , think nada on it is close to 80 but not trying to get rich on it, didnt pay covid prices and just going to pass it along.
