Provisional entry list for A1. Not complete as there’s no KTM entries yet.
Edit: Ronnie Ford is doing it on a two stroke again too. And JH100 is now JH72.

much ty. How to spot a paid forum poster/artificial forum traffic producer (see list of actions/phrases below):
Copius pattern amounts of phrases like “Anyone have”..., “Anybody know?”.... and their variations.
Thoughts?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
I was thinking the same thing. Didn't the AMA/FELD have a talk with him after a few rounds earlier this year telling him he was some kind of hazard?
I suppose they could let him run practice to see if he improved. Very doubtful but I guess there's always a chance. If he can't cut it at round 1 they should just tell him to park it. I understand that FELD is greedy but the guy's safety should be priority. He's a hazard to himself and everyone else that's on the track.
Anyone know if the AMA can revoke someone's pro card?

I'm not sure what the popular opinion is, but this Ford guy had his moment. He needs to let it go. This is a PROFESSIONAL event. Any other professional sport wouldn't have even let him have his shot out there. There aren't participation trophies at this level. If he's in his upper 30s or 40s and over 20 seconds a lap off the top guys, this is just a hobby. It was fun while it lasted for him, but he's a hazard to himself and others.
Would the NFL put a 39 year old, 5 foot 10, 185 pound dude who runs a 7 second 40 yard dash in at RB during the regular season? This is the equivalent.
Just feels weird not seeing MA800 at the bottom of that list for the first time in almost 15 years.
Thanks for the memories, Mike! Best of luck in Canada this coming summer.
Remember guys, this the provisional list. More names to be added in the next week I’m sure. Oh, and get a load of the 250 class list. That class is stacked with talent. Should be some damn good racing in the lites division.
AC92 is who to place bets on to win.
2009 Kawasaki KX450F
2009 Kawasaki KX250F
2002 Suzuki GSXR 600
Sure, an NFL tream can put who ever the want in as RB. It’s their money. Now, the NFLPA could probably step in and stop it if they wanted to, but would they to be honest?
Ronnie Ford has followed all the rules. Let the guy try to qualify and race. I’m sure Feld is happy to have another entry. People should stop complaining. He’s not doing ANYTHING wrong or out of line.
I think Ronnie Ford is 44 Years old
Anyone who thinks he should be racing hasn’t seen him on the track. Imagine your local mid pack intermediate rider on a Supercross track. Bad idea. I say to be fair let him practice at A-1 and unless he’s a lot better clip him
If you don't think other sports would allow someone of Ford's skill level to compete, you need to look up Eric the Eel; a swimmer who competed in the Syndey Olympics.
The problem isn't with Ronnie, it's with the rules that allowed him to get a pro license in the first place. Or in this case, the old "endorsement" qualification rules. He's been able to keep his license on the same standard as any other pro rider.
Personally, I don't like the idea of officials being able to ban riders for being too slow without a set protocol.
The Olympics analogy isn't really that good. Any country can send whoever they want. Like the MXON. Some countries send guys that wouldn't make the 40 man gate at any regular national race.
I'm not saying this in an arrogant way, but have some of you guys ever raced at a high level? As in for money and not a trophy? I don't give a shit that they want to just give him his shot. He's already had it. But when you're moving at a high rate of speed on the same track as someone who isn't, you catch up to them fast. And when you do, especially on a supercross track, there's a good chance of either you or that person crashing or having a close call.
According to last year's Vital Pit Bit the AMA did have a talk with Ronnie Ford.
Here's a clip of the 43/44 year old guy practicing. It doesn't look like he gained any speed. Maybe A1 2018 will be his last shot?
