I typically spend about 4.5 hours at the track on a practice day and I ride about 90 minutes. Just curious what everyone else does.

About 3-4 sessions of 20-25 minutes and then I’m out. I can usually get to the track by nine and be out by 11:30-12.

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Depends on th day. Some days I do 3 or 4 30 minute motors at an easy ish intensity and usually rest for 20 to 30 minutes in between. Other times I will do typical race length motos at race pace. If I drive a long way to a track I usually try to get at least 2hrs seat time in to make it worth the drive.

11/25/2018 7:22 PM

3-4 sessions (20 min) myself and 3-4 sessions behind my lil one. Typically around 5-6 hrs at the track.

Typically do about the same as far as motos go and get there early usually done by 1-2ish but our group has been known to stay at the track much later than anyone else. When I was in Louisiana atleast. Often times asked to lock the gate when we leave. Beers, stories, fires, music, good times.

Im lucky enough to have a track right in the backyard. Ill ride every day for around 3ish hours. Ill Do three thirty minute motos on the bike (sorry i know you can hate all you want, i know im one of those guys) Then do three thirtys on the race quad. The track has a little moto and a little woods mixed in so its a perfect mix for XC training.

depends if i have the kid with me or not. Usually there by 8 or 9 when it opens and out by 1 because the kid is like a energizer bunny. He rides and takes a break (usually the time it takes me to fill his bike back up) and then he's off again.

About 2-2.5 gallons of gas. I'm out of shape

|

11/25/2018 8:49 PM

its 60-90m here for me

|

11/25/2018 8:56 PM

Usually 4-5 15 to 20 minute motos. Arm pump always stops me from doing more, or longer motos...very annoying.

|

11/25/2018 9:04 PM

45-60 minutes. I practice a particular skill, then play a bit and I split.

|

11/25/2018 9:07 PM

Usually spend 4-5 hours at the track and rack up 90 minutes of actual ride time.

|

11/25/2018 9:08 PM

1 gallon of gas over four hours. Arm pump kicks my ass; I'm getting better, but it cripples me after just a couple laps.

On a tough sand track yesterday i did about 90 mins. If it’s hardpack, I’ll do 5-6 sessions so 2 hours worth.

If we are racing it’s 45 mins max over 3 races dragged from 9am to 4.30pm ish. I’m in the uk. What’s the crack over there with you guys, what’s the average race day consist of?

|

11/26/2018 3:32 AM

1.5 hours is about all i got in me on a good day

|

11/26/2018 3:35 AM

Warmup plus 3 x 25-30m motos. I’m usually at the track for a maximum of 2.5 hours and never ride less than 90m total ride time.

|

OP's around here are usually run as 20 min sessions and are divided into 3-4 groups depending on the day. You get 20min per hr so I usually stay for 3-4 hrs and get about 1 hr of actual seat time. Race days are 12hr+ affairs and if you race 2 classes its 16 laps + 3 lap practice. It comes out to about 1/2 the seat time and 2x the actual time at the track. No wonder OP's are more crowded.

Usually 60 to 80 minutes total riding time for me

|

Warmup (around 10 minutes) then 2-4 times 20 min motos.

But some days i focus on different sections and technique.

|

11/26/2018 4:37 AM

Usually one of the first to hit the track and one of the last to leave. 4-6 20-30 minutes motos. Being a weekend warrior like a lot of us, I try and ride as much as I can on the weekends.

|

11/26/2018 5:04 AM

3-5 15 to 20 minute motos.

Same for me.

I’ve almost always got other stuff to do so riding doesn’t get to take up the whole day.

Normal day for me :

1 warm up lap . I roll everything . I then practice 3 or 4 starts . Then come back into the pits and act like something is wrong ? Start ranting and raving about how i am down on power and my Dunlops are just not hooking up .

Wait about a hour and go back out and do a semi warm up lap ..Than i really get after it on the straights . At this point i know my Set up is off . so i will go back to the pits and rant and rave about my set up . I tinker with my tire pressure and check my LIT pro . wait another hour .

Now i am ready i am amped up on 6 Monsters and a Red Bull . I have lazar Focus this time on WINNING . anyone in my way i will clean da Fawk out . By the second lap i notice i left my FIT BIT at the truck . and i just can not ride not knowing what my Heart rate is ... Back to the pits . This is when i will yell at my GF and let her know i would have won . I go sit in the shade now . after about 35 min . i tell her i need a new bike and my Boots are to stiff . we load up and i talk all the way home about my New bike i need . and how that number 37 is lucky he stayed out of my way . cus i would have put him in the cheap seats .

A day at the track? For every 20 minutes I spend riding, I spend an hour BSing about it with my buddies. I'm old....I have an excuse.

|

45 minutes to an hour total ride time. I'm pretty out of shape and usually have the family with me so I'm only at the track for about 2 hours.
