...And to Miquon, you are right about Magoo. I remember reading somewhere about that image, and it gave me chills. To paraphrase, "A solitary CR500 rocketed around the S-shaped first turn, engine howling in anger. Danny Chandler left the throttle wide open when all the world's best riders had shut off."

Now that you mention it . . . that sounds like Sir Jack's writing as well : ) As I recall he would usually shoot the photos AND do the race reports.

I liked that article so much that I bought 2 of the sept/oct 98 issues of RacerX. Anyone know if Huffman is still going to do the documentary on the 81 team?
