I'm really lovin Tonkov's 250, but I'm hoping for something more exclusively Husqvarna for 2016 on the 450. Anybody seen anything?

I really doubt that the Huskies are gonna vary as much as what was initially said... When you've dropped all that coin on R&D and come up with what is universally being hailed as unreal, why would you go spend more to come up with basically another (unknown) result that is essentially cannibalising your own market?

Did you get to ride the 2016 KTM's yet? If so, how was the motor on the 250sxf? Is it still just a top end screamer like the last few years or have they managed to make it more Kawi/Yamaha like with great power throughout?

First video will cover more of what you're asking. Got to check out the homepage more often. Wink

Not sure yet. We aren't always informed what time PRs are launched, we just keep our eyes open during this time of the year. I just have the intros on my calendar so I know where I'm going, ha!

I was hoping we might see Nagl on the new Husky 450 by now but he is on a different team than Tonkov. Plus leading the MX1 points probably isn't the best time to swap to a completely new bike.

They have the new factory 450 and have tested it but Nagl is in no rush to swap.

I'm sure they will continue to test.

I guess no sweden this time?

I want to see how the TC250 will look like, that would be a game changer if the Husqvarna TC250 gets the new chassis for 2016 and KTM waits for 2017 for the 250SX.

Pff, I never get to fly in anything other than economy. Laughing Also, the manufactures take care of our flights for these type of events.

No Sweden this year. Husqvarna's world launch will be here instead, so the European editors will have to fly over.

If the rumors of a DI engine are right, I don't think you'll see Husky do a frame for a one year model if they can have DI the next year (probably a smaller engine/stacked crank design so it would use its own frame).

So is the 2016 Husky going to be the same as the 2016 KTM except with an air fork?

Luckily I have short legs, so economy isn't always so bad. Laughing

Well......if that's somehow a problem, I know of an easy way to make it less stressful for ya and for you to only have to go on one flight. Which one do you want? I'm not picky.

As a 100% assumption... I would say yes.

It'll be a cake walk compared to last year. If you didn't read my blog from last year's intro extravaganza, check it out. Laughing

That's quite intriguing if it turns out to be the case. If that's true, we can probably assume it will be about 2 pounds lighter than the 16 KTM as well.
