I'm not 50+, but I honestly have more fun riding now than I've ever had at any point in my life. I can't quite put my finger on why though? More laid back? Less pressure? I can afford to replace things that break? Just appreciate it more? I can afford to buy all the cool parts and gear? All of those? I don't know...but you have plenty of things to look forward too.

I'm 31

Been riding for 25 years and I still haven't figured out how to go fast.

I mostly like fishing and drinking beer now.

You was lucky then. The guy who had mine, never greased the rear linkage, the swing arm moved from side to side when I started stripping it down. It was so bad the pivot bolt (which took 15 minutes to remove), had worn through the bearing outer casings. It was close to buying a new swing arm.

Love riding that YZ.

Thanks for your support. Really honoured that Tom White won the auction at Spreckels Theatre, the night of the premiere of Todd Huffman's great movie about Marty and the 1990 USGP.
This original now hangs in Tom's Early Years of Motocross Museum.
If you ever get a chance to go, grab it with both hands, you will not be disappointed............

Me too bro. I've been there with an 01 CR125 that I restored. Currently bringing a KDX200 back to life, that thing has been through a war. Some people shouldn't own dirtbikes.

43. first Z50 at age 5 and I really dont remember not having some type of dirtbike in the basement. Raced as a teen. My dad bought me a brand spanking new 1985 CR60 air-cooled, ill never forget the tag on the handlebars was $595. The next year, I got bumped up to a new 1986 CR80 (both had the blue seats) and the sticker tag was $1095. I couldnt believe they were that much. I wished I had some pics but dont.
