Seems like there a bunch of 2015-2016 450s in my area for dirt cheap. Where as any of the other manufacturers especially honda are almost 2x the price.

2015 rmz for $3700 another for 3999 some look really clean and stock

Cheapest 450 at the dealership combined with lowest resale value out of all of the OEM’s. Doesn’t help that they just updated the current model year for the first time in nearly a decade.

You could probably buy that 3 year old RMZ for 3700 right now, ride it for a season, clean it up, sell it before Christmas and come out even.

In nearly a decade?Laughing You're correct on the plastics...you're wrong on the rest of the bike.

The only significant changes I can think of between maybe ‘12 and ‘17 were air forks, front brakes and launch control.

What am I forgetting?

15-17's are great bikes. Forget the shootouts.. For mere mortals, these can be very competitive bikes.

Still miss my 15' more than my high school sweetheart.

You did well. Best offer I got on my 2015 was 3000.

One guy so stoked he had picked up a 2015 for 2800, thought they were so cheap he wanted to pick up another for that price lol

Buddy just picked up an 18 RMZ 450 for $6,200. Had 20 minutes of ride time. Has a Pro-circuit link and some WC bling.

Sat on craigslist for a month at that price. I think my buddy scored a pretty good deal.

I'm not a 450 guy, hell I'm not an MX guy, just Harescrables and Enduro's with some great trail rides....and the RMZ450's are so cheap I'd like to get one! Plenty of parts available, low buy in price, and anymore showing up to ride on a Suzuki is like showing up on a Cannondale...no one rides yellow anymore.

A dealer local to me has a leftover '16 listed for $5699, just tax and FL offroad title fee. Good bike I am interested in, just that dreaded air fork...

A 2017 crf450 is miles ahead of a 2017 rmz450. Thats why it theyre cheap.

450's don't work well in the tight Southern Ohio singletrack that I ride...at least not for mortals like me.

Sold my 2012 last year for $3100, with 50 hours. Seemed like a reasonable price and I had it up on Craigslist for two weeks.

Was a great bike and I miss it sometimes, but the YZ250 is cheaper to care for. RMZ was good in the trails with dialed in suspension and a tooth down on the rear.

I bought my 16 rmz450 at the end of 2016 with 20hrs for 4k.
I decided to use the money I would have spent buying a new bike on upgrades. For the price I got some KYB kit suspension, spring fork setup for me, full ti yoshi system, vortex ignition, and a heap of other bits and pieces. Love the bike.
