yep fly, then get a rental , hotel etc, it all figures out to be the same price! If you have more than one person you can split costs!

I dunno 900miles/30mpg = 30. 30*3.70gas=$111*2=$222.

It would be more for a rental and to fly thats for sure.

900+ miles in about 18 hours from California to Thunder Valley for MXON last year. 2006 I went to Mugello for MotoGP, that's close to 6500 miles but I flew so it doesn't count.

15,000 miles last year for Moto!

1600 miles 1 way SC to Denver CO for the MXoN..... Booth did really well and picked up a sweet looking hitch hiker coming back that made it all worth while.

1989 drove from MD to Millville to race the 500 National .... dont remember the mileage but the 2 of us drove straight there for 24 hours in a little ranger. mxb2 did you know Ted that owned JT Motorsports? Thank god for game boy!

10 hours +/- to Southwick.

20 hours +/- to Budds Creek for Nations 2007 - that was on a bus. Didn't have to drive which was a bonus but man did it stink by the time we got there. I'd do it all again tomorrow though, that was a road trip to remember - epicness everywhere.

Seriously - who isn't envious of the way that summer was spent.

Hmmm, maybe if I live long enough to retire...

Yeah, you should fly. You should be able to find some decent rates from FL to the DC/Baltimore area.

The longest that I've driven is 5 hours. I've flown out to Cali though for around $200 round trip.
