California isn’t number one anymore IMO.

I like Washington or Oregon dirt. Colorado has some killer tracks. Hell if it wasn’t for the shortened season Minnesota would rule. The dirt here is the best I’ve ever ridden

I’d put the Pacific NW first

I’d put the Pacific NW first
I’ve lived in the PNW and would never put anywhere in that area near the top. The winter alone is a huge limiting factor (and I live in Alaska).

I think you'd have a hard time matching the number of quality tracks in Texas.

The Southeast (NC, SC, GA, FL) has come on really strong in the past 10-15 years for training facilities... Carolina's have ClubMX, Jimmy Weinart's Training Facility, South of the Border... Georgia and Florida have GPF, MTF, Bakers Factory, The Sandbox/Nest, plus all the rider compounds Chupacabra Ranch, Stew, Barcia, etc etc etc

We may have our down time from the winter , but make no mistake , during the spring, summer and fall.....you couldn't beat the dirt here during those season's. Some want to ride all year long and don't mind riding in desert like condition's during the summer , which for myself.....I hate it. When it get's to a 100+ degree's here , I don't want to ride. It truly boils down to what you want to ride in. I myself will heal my body , save my money and ride my ass off 8 months out of the year on awesome soil. As far as riding goes , there is no better place on earth , then where I'm at. Period!

Best day of my Moto life was when I moved to north Texas, within 4 hours counting the Houston area best tracks I have rode in 30 years of Moto. If only Whitney and Mosier were still open this is imho the best in the USA...

Illinois. We have so many tracks within a 3-4 hour radius of chicago that its ridiculous. Plus....winter makes the heart grow fonder

If ti wasnt for the season being shortened by winter, I think Michigan deserves a mention. We have some great tracks (Baja Acres, Red bud) and many more that you probably havent heard of, amazing sandy dirt, and TONS of trails of all types. Lots of events too, Baja Brawl, GNCCs, and enduros. I really wish there was no winter.

I may catch shit for this, but for tracks I'm going to say Florida, CA and Alabama/Georgia have it pretty damn good.

Just my opinion.

I don't think I could just pick any one state to say is better.

I don't think I could just pick any one state to say is better.
I agree. In regard to public tracks, seems like I'm always loading up to cross into Alabama. So many awesome tracks... Monster Mountain, Mill Creek, War Eagle, Big Springs, Sand Mountain on the east side of the state.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of tracks back southeast I've never ridden. I remember taking the trip to monster mountain while I was stationed at Redstone Arsenal and I was almost in tears that I didn't have a bike. That was damn near a decade ago though.

I'm definitely planning on going back. Alabama is one of the few southern states I feel really welcomes you with open arms.

Sand Mountain is another go to. I love loamy, sandy tracks where you really dig in a tire and commit.

You really need to separate So Cal from the rest of the state. I live in Central Cal and grew up in Nor Cal- while there are tracks here and there, it's nothing like the sheer number of them in the southern part of the state.

I am spoiled and live in Michigan between Redbud and Baja Acres. Throw in Battle Creek MX, Portland MX, Big Air, Dutch, Bulldogs, Log Road, Martin, Twisted and Valley just to name a few.

We only get to ride from March - October but its pretty damn good. Last I knew D14 is pretty strong.
