Whats a ballpark number on what Justin Brayton earned for his Daytona SX win tonight?

I know there's been multiple threads delving into what kind of money these guys make but with Brayton riding for a team thats primarily funded by outside of the industry sponsors (albeit Mike Genova is the key amongst then) what do you think he earned tonight?

Also is he even eligible for Honda contingency money given their signage stipulations or would he, Friese and any other Honda riders not under the factory or perhaps Geico canopies still be funneled some funds even if the typical requirements for displaying Honda signage isn't being met due to their Smart top team requirements?

Whatever Brayton made, I hope he donates a portion of it to Vital, so they can hire another moderator, and we don’t have to read painfully horrible threads like this.

I know Tony Alessi had said that motoconcepts has a structured bonus program. So much for a holeshot, a heat or lcq win, top 15 bonus in main, top 10 bonus in main, then top 5, and probably X amount for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. And they have bonuses for their overall finish in the season. Braytons probably making some good money this season with the way their bonus program is structured. Especially now with this win.

He earned plenty beyond dollars tonight. Looks like he's found himself positioned to be remembered. Plus I hear money, ladies, cars, and fancy watches are in his contract.

I hope it was a totally unrealistically high amount because it was unrealistic for a Smartop rider to win a main. 100 million dollars!

I know first hand that a young lites rider for TLD gets $30K per win in his contract (and has yet to win this season). For a 450 premier class win, I have to believe it's at least $100K. That would be my guess.

Forkner's contract posted on here a while back had $50k for a main event win, hope he's getting at least that

I agree. I thought it was a good question too.

Finally someone posts something that isn't just bitching and complaining like some old woman and what do you do but come on here bitching and complaining. A true vital poster through and through. I'll let you on to a little secret, you don't have to click it if you don't like it, grandma.

4 stroke de-evolution! With the right handicap even I could beat Tiger Woods.

Need to add SHAT to your location.

Doesn’t matter. In 5/10/20/30 years time the money will be long forgotten but the memory and the place in the record books will last forever.

Weird that Daytona could be the race where 2 privateers get their 1 win

Hmmm... Craig did well but you have to assume that HRC would have liked to resolve the endorsement conflicts with MCR in order to have Brayton slide over.

For real. Those second tier Honda's winning heat races and the main event definitely made the red bikes look good.

Why? Their fundamental goal, a Honda on the top step, was achieved. I am sure they are fine with it being for MCR
