Noticed the piece extending from the radiator to the side of the cylinder hear in some shots and haven't seen anything about it here. Assuming it's something to do with cooling, but I don't really know. Who has the answers? Bueller?

Oil cooler. Adds oil capacity. They've been running it in various forms for 3+ years now.

It's a prototype George foreman type grill ,it's heated with engine coolant and has a burger ready as soon as the moto is done . There's video of him taking it out after last week's moto.
