I've been eyeing the leftover Kawasakis too. They're not flashy but seem consistent. No major issues. I'd love to try the new Hondas, but they cost so much more than anything else that I don't think I could justify it.

yeah I would be team green 450 ..buddy put 105 hrs on his 16 and never touched it motor wise. mentally prepare for the fork dialing in. biggest factor being you rode one and know if you even like them.

Since the KX 450 actually weighs less than the crf250 and makes like 10 more horsepower and is cheaper.

Just dont get that Honda, my friend pre ordered one and he said its like a peacock in a head wind + dual exhaust is a gimmick.

KX suspension is actually pretty good just you need to really educate yourself on set up.

I am happy with my KX

"(2) Weight. This bike needs its own weight class. There is no nice way to say “tub of lard.”"
This is a direct quote from Motocross Action on crf 250

The CRF did pretty well in all the shootouts
1st or 2nd in every one I believe
Which seems a little weird
With all the things everybody says about it
No bottom End heavy
(Tub of lard lol ) etc..

When I see this it makes me wonder why they still update and really bother to produce mx bikes . How are they making money ?

What I think is How crazy all the prices on newer used ones seems
When I look at this
There are Several 2015,2016,2017
450's just on my local craigslist for the same price or close
And Some that are More
A few KTM's that are more than this used also
And maybe that is Justified for a KTM
But still I think I'd Rather have a freshie

Honda all day long, unless you get the Kawi and swap the forks out with something better. Maybe a revalve could help them? I didn’t like the stock stuff.

The Kawi engine has more power but the Honda feels great, turns amazing and suspension is unreal out of the box.

Dang man, you got some healthy, good look'n babe's!! They have really grown from the last time you posted a pic. I've been there, done that, thankfully mine are grown and on their own. I have a tough time getting rid of any of my bike's....they're like family, lol. Thanks for posting their pic's, and be careful on your bike cause they'll probably need a little butt spank'n or two at some point, lol. Your'e doing great....keep it up bud !

Hondas are all I feel comfortable on but if you don't really favor one brand, then that Kawi 450 is a steal! I have a feeling OTD prices will be a good amount more but 2k less than the CRF for latest model year 450 seems like a crazy deal
