Since this Glendale race has been scheduled for a while now, what would happen in this case if the Arizona Cardinals had a home playoff game on the same weekend in this stadium? Even if the game was on Sunday, there’s not enough time to take out all the dirt and still have enough time to prep for the game.

From a Vikings fan, they probably just banked on Sam Bradford sucking or getting hurt fast..

JT said in another thread regarding this that the race would probably be moved to the Easter break.

dirt werx tears down the track immediately after the race... so if they had a playoff game on sunday... everybody is getting paid double overtime or triple time to get everything TF outta there lol (Then roll the field back in).. im willing to bet they could probably do it in about 10hrs with extra dozers and hands on deck

I believe this was a possibility recently with another football team. Was it last year with Houston? And they said the race would be rescheduled for one of the off weeks. I could have dreamed this up though.

Ohh all that makes sense. I forgot that stadium had a field like that. But also recheduling makes more sense to me.

They would have played on the dirt, jumps and all
Ha. Now that I’d pay to see...

In all seriousness, not sure what contingency plans they had in place but probably could have pulled it off by simply moving the race up earlier in the day.

That's why Oakland gets a race. Never have to worry about the playoffs

Hell froze over?

Right, and the 1000 or so people that are there for Supercross Futures on Sunday would have blown 1000 or so gaskets.

There is an amateur race on Sunday so even if they could clear the track in time to set up the field, there would still be conflicting schedules
