Making this just to see peoples opinions and solutions to problems they saw in the broadcast.
Personally I think
- On board cameras are a good idea they need to figure out better quality and add names when they show them
- Jeff and Ralf need to be replaced
I like all of the graphics they had done they seemed very well put together.

My thoughts:
-It felt long. I don't know why, but also repetitive.
-I did like the graphics and overall look of the event.
-Love that someone is trying to "add" to the sport by offering more opportunity.
-Felt underwhelming.
I could be stuck in my old-a$$ ways with US Supercross...which I still find exciting and will cancel plans on a Sat night to stay home and watch live (clearly I have no life).
Hoping for the best with WSX...will be a great alternative to those riders who are looking for something a bit different.
-Longer start straight
-Heat races that mean something
-Image stabilization for on-board cameras
-Updates on race points/standings
-Alternate mains 250,450,250,450….
-Skid Kristen and Joseph
-Better dirt
Run the 250 two mains and then the 450 two mains, then the 250 super final and the the 450 super final...that will give them the time to be able to let everyone know the points going into the the super final...nobody had a clue this weekend...
Get rid of the cardboard boxes...also it appears that they don't have any outside or industry sponsors as all you see EVERYWHERE is the WSX logo
The mechanics area was straight out of the 80's....it was almost like the mechanics were running out in the track with their pit boards as the barrier was barely knee high...
The structure over the starting gate was cheesy...needs flags or digital boards that identify the riders above the gates (Feld should do this also)...it another way for fans to be able to identify the riders on the starting line...
There was nothing that showed the running order like the lighted pole that Feld uses or a strobe light that identifies the leader(again like Feld does). or put a small/bright LED light that flashes on the rear fender of all bikes that they only use on the leader to make him easily spotted by fans...
They have to think outside of the box when it comes to TV production and announcing...it came off as a poorly executed copy of what we get with Feld (I did like the rear view camera although the quality was shit)
Ralph, Jeff, Kristen and Joseph were extremely disappointing and unprepared...Was definitely a big step backwards from what we see in SX...They spent more time letting us know that this was a "World Championship GP" than calling the races...
They have a long way to go and hopefully we will see some major improvements by Melbourne
The Shop
Berms you can block pass in , and no silly follow the leader section like after the finish ,
Lose the metal ramp. It does nothing for racing ,
I’m with the others that split the last race out. And get the announcers the points before that race
IMO, give 3 points for the Super Pole, and maybe 1 for second or something. With 75 points up for grabs, 1 extra point ain't really cutting it.
The winners trophy should be the cash they won, everybody likes money.
Get Ralph and Jeff a Red Bull because they sounded deflated the whole night, except when Grant busted out the quad the first time.
Have clear updates of the points after each race, for the whole pack.
it won't catch on with random american racers and second-rate euro riders.
Better track design
Please, no metal ramps. Looks like a BMX event.
Longer main races
No on board cameras
85-90% of what is shown during a race, should be racing from main cameras
Skip FMX
Longer start
Show points, not even Jeff or Ralph knew who won!
And ffs, have some QA on replays on the site. Like 60sec audio/video off sync.
Not fixable:
Crowd was on mute?
Need better riders. It like a grandpa race, they get hurt when trying to hard after being to long away.
2: ditch the on board shots, they were such poor quality you couldn’t even tell what you were looking at half the time
3: revise camera angles to show the size of the obstacles… all the jumps except the finish line appeared 18”-24” tall 🤦🏻♂️
4: stop having Ralph force a narrative on the viewers about how amazing this series is and how these are “All the best supercross racers in the world” come the effff on! Aside from tomac and roczen you have a handful of euros no one knows and a bunch of either long retired or current 2nd/3rd tier Americans.
I came in open minded wanting to love this race and hoping for great things from the series but it was so so so so boring to watch and the narrative from the announcers was so overtly political I had to force myself to finish watching just to see if Tomac could complete the sweep.
Pit Row
1. The third final needs a live ticker showing the OA positions
2. Give the racers a bit more time between mains, and us armchair guys a chance to take a leak... what did they have last weekend, like 3 minutes between races 1, 2, and 3?? the racers were huffing their brains out while lining up for the next main.. looked brutal to me...
3. Scrap whatever "tv package" they now have.. get with YouTube.. offer them the exclusive on the live content... make a deal to earn more than a normal channel to be Live and Free on YT as their official media package...
That's it for me...
The venue is big , unlikely to sell out.
The have aus sx round of Friday, so should iron out any TV bugs before Saturday wsx round.
At least everything (barring that slight delay before the 450 mains) was back to back to back to back to back.
There were a few good points from the even that I would like to see Feld implement though.
THEY ARE AMAZING haha just do it right, ffs

What the SX Global team sold us on and what they delivered were wildly different, it should have been the other way around.. under promise, exceed expectations and build from there. Too big too fast has hurt them as they wanted to be on an AMA SX event level from the start,
