Whatever bike gets the royalty treatment. My 21 yz250f has seen a lot of limiter time and at one point lost oil for a couple minutes. 40 hour piston looked great. New oil and air filter every ride. Just did a clutch yesterday (~56 hours on original plates), still was okay. Just starting slipping a touch when the bike was really hot when I was riding when it was 91°F out.

A guy I know who I wouldn't call a friend but someone I ride with. 17 YZ250F, head was absolutely fried. Bitching and moaning about what a POS it was. But runs the bike on 10-12 hour oil intervals and barely changes the air filter. Im sure runs low on oil too.

I always hate when people say, “my 2011 Honda crf450 lasted 500 hours!” And don’t say anything about their riding abilities.

PW50 is, by far, the longest lasting, most reliable mx bike available.

From the service manual:
Case oil: We might have put some in there once, not sure.
Chain maintenance: Nuh-uh.
Crank service interval: Potassium-argon dating required.
Fork/shock seals: Wut?
Spoke tightening: LOL.

A lifetime ago i used to frequent the ISDE and watching guys rip full size 80's for 5 days and a moto, that was impressive. The top guys in the 125 class would beat the life out of those bikes, also impressive. Nothing kills any bike faster than pure neglect and stupidity.

I’ve had an 18, 19, and currently and 250sxf, 18 and 19 both had over 100 hours when sold never opened them up and they ran perfect, my 21 has about 80 now, did a top end at 60 just for piece of mind but everything looked good. I also run the bikes pretty hard, they’ve seen most of they’re life in sand
