450:
I think James and Chad both need to have a great year in SX. They both are capable, and have the ability. Now they need to execute!!
250:
Malcolm needs to be battleing for the box !! He shows flashes of briliance and then other times looks almost lost....
Consistancy will be the key !
I think TC needs to get through the SX and outdoor season unscathed. Not saying he needs to win either series, I think he merely needs to show that he can consistently run with the top-5. Simply put: I think Trey just needs to have something good happen to him this season, for once.
Tedesco can show if he still has it.
Stewy can try to prove he can stay off the ground.
Bogle was a rookie last year so he should have it together better.
Brayton and Metcalfe need to show results in the opposite series if their strengths. Should combine these riders into one...
Hope Canard stays healthy, speed is no problem there.
Rattray? Hoping he could team up with Wilson at JWR. I'd say give him a chance 450 indoors and he should be strong outdoors. I'd like him to stay Kawi but maybe McBrooks wants him?
Mookie has speed but needs to shake the Dnf's and the Stewart crashing disease. Remember that wicked crash in the whoops near the end of sx? Cartwheel!
Dudes, gotta bench race with me? I'm stuck on the couch all day after getting a vasectomy haha. Should have just cased a jump hard on the track instead....
Dean Wilson - Lacking any really great rides in SX
Izzi - alot of people have been talking about him coming back up but he needs to carry that momentum
Cunningham - in '11 he was one of the top 5 guys outdoors but has had a rough season this year.
Durham. Hope he comes back flying in sx. I didn't catch the last dmxs with him can someone fill me in. Is he riding?
Durham said he just got a new bike and said he was going to go trail riding and start easing his way back in. He won't be doing the MEC and will be ready for SX. He said he wants to ride west region if he can.
And also Kenny an Marvin. There will be even more pressure on them boys to do well next year. And if they don't start gettin the W's they'll be sent home with their tails between their legs.
Durham is a good call out as well as Sipes. This is a make-or-break year for Sipes, Izzi, Davalos, and Millsaps in my opinion.
-Sipes had a really strong 2011, and then fell off the map (due to injuries) this year. He has the stuff, but can he put together a championship run?
-Millsaps has had a life story of "changed this supplement" or "well my diet was causing my arm pump" or whatever it was. If he's ever going to mix it up with the top 5, he's going to need to take the next step.
-Izzi came into the pros hot, and the last few seasons he's been cold. This year, he started to heat up again but he really needs to carry that momentum. This will be his best ride since his ride at Rockstar Makita back in the day. Let's see what he can do with it.
-Davalos has been in the Lites class WAY too long. Rumor had it that he turned down PC rides before because "if [he] can't perform on a PC bike, he'll never get another ride again." I guess he's finally stepped up to the challenge, but I remain skeptical that he'll be a championship contender. This will be his 7th year in the class I believe? 7 years in the Lites class is WAY too long.
Sadly, I think this is a critical year for Canard. If he completes a full season, the future is brightened right back up for him. If he doesn't, I fear that the quality of ride that he can obtain is going to begin to dissolve.
I think it goes without saying, but we just need a full, healthy field of riders.
Wilson had some good SX rides this year as well as last, but it's time for him to really button done a solid presence throughout a season. Both Tomac and Barcia handled him pretty easily in their title runs.
I'll be interested to see how Bogle handles himself this year - last season was a PR nightmare with him running around like a spoiled toddler.
Will the PC squad recover well from such a poor year? No SX championships, and only 1 rider to finish the MX season.
Has JGR decided to stick with a solid performance as opposed to spending big bucks on someone they feel could contend for them, or is the bike limiting anyone who could contend for them from even sniffing in their direction.
Grieby54, great viewpoint.
You know what? Baggett should do better in supercross also. He will be the PC team leader.
I wish Durham could have ridden...

I wish Durham could have ridden some outdoors to see where he would fit in.
Good point. Maybe he's the next Alessi? Though Alessi hasn't won a single indoor race...
I think Baggett sees the track different from anyone else, and takes a lot of very different lines. In supercross, though, that advantage is taken away because there will always be one fast line around that track. Not to mention the race is over before that kid even gets going.
I bet Baggett will be stronger for sx this time around. He's won indoor races before.
I really think that Wilson would have been in the hunt outdoors this year but his shoulder killed him. He can have a mulligan if SX doesn't go perfect but he will need to run with Barcia on a 450 outdoors.

Seriously though, I'll bet there are some guys that finished top five in the 250's who wish things had just gone a slight bit different than they did.

Hard to bag on Josh Grant, he just had a solid year to work up from.
We gotta have all those guys make through sx to ride the outdoors for sure.
Metcalfe needs to rebound.
The Shop
- Brayton
- Metcalfe
- Rattray
- Tedesco
- Stewart
- Canard
- Bogle
I'm sure there are others...
Tedesco can show if he still has it.
Stewy can try to prove he can stay off the ground.

Just a few that I can think of.

How will the McBrookes team do this year?
Bogle has to do something too.
You know what? Baggett should do better in supercross also. He will be the PC team leader.

All this will be great to watch unfold.
Byrne was amazing in Unadilla moto 1.
I don't know, some of the older guys are getting pushed out and new are coming in. Let's hope there are minimal injuries.
This better be worth it!
I think if you ride an ISDE event your done having kids after. My buddy rode 2 of those and still walks funny.
