What place will team Puerto Rico finish?

I think they'll make the main. Probably finish last to near last in the main.

I think it's safe to say that Sipes will be the most impressive and finish highest out of the 3. I think he can sneak into the top 10-12 in his class.

That is, of course, if they even race in the main if they do qualify.

I'm so pumped to see kdub and Travis race again. I see Travis is running and doing 30 minute motos to get in shape.

Windham said on his Pulp interview the if they make the main, he IS NOT racing it. Because that would mean 3 motos in one day (assuming they have to race and win the B Main to get in).

Seems like they are there to put in a good, respectable effort (but not too good), and raise money and awareness.

It's really hard to estimate how Travis and Windham will do.
They can probably turn fast laps but will they even last enough to finish decently in the 20+2 saturday motos?
If one of them can get a decent result on saturday and sipes finishes where he should, then they could qualify. Especially because some Euro teams aren't going (Slovenia, Latvia, etc)

Is there a full list of teams and riders entered? How many teams make it directly into the A Main from qualifying?

We can have the ultimate bench-race scenario and try to figure out where they will finish based off the list Tongue

Found this from last years qualifying results. Looks like 19 teams directly in with the 20th being B Main winners.

Can they race into being top 19th fastest? Someone said qualifiers are only 20+2 which helps them. If it comes down to the B Main I think they throw the anchor and just have a good time on the track...

I'm surprised that Travis can still run. Seriously. I can't run anymore without limping for the next 3 days, and I have only had one knee injury and surgery.

I think they can make it through the B final, and if they qualify for the show, I'd say 16th-20th.

I don't see Pastrana finishing any of the motos without a few crashes, Windham surely isn't in shape enough to go 30+2 anymore, and Sipes will be extremely underpowered vs 20 450s.

In qualification they only take two results. In previous years to make it to A-final you only need less than 30 placing score combined from two riders. So if Sipes can make it around 12th and either Pastrana or Windham 18th they will make it to final. The qualification is only 20min + 2 laps.

I swear some of you are so out of your minds.

Top 10-12? Get real. They wouldn't hold a candle compared to last year's team that actually scored 10-12.

They 100% are not qualifying for the A-Main. Get over it. IF they make the B-Main it's gonna be Pastrana DNF, Windham sucking wind 3 laps in and Sipes blowing up his PoS 125. They're doing it for the charity, not for results. So get over your wild disillusions.

I'm confused why Windham and Pastrana are training if they don't really plan on trying, and won't race the main. Why not just show up fat and out of shape for the fans and charity?

So there's a chance PR could qualify directly into the big show, without having to race two thirty minute motos? Would KW still not race the main then?
