Basically we have a 2020 Ktm 125 bone stock. I’m just here to pick brains about what’s the easiest way to gain power without spending heaps. Cheers

jet it properly for your fuel etc, get the suspension set up for your weight and ability, are the two best things to do,

if you really want to spend more money, put a v force reed block in it, and pipe and muffler in that order, in fact i know a top 125 junior rider in nz that has gone back to stock pipe and muffler as its a nicer powerband,

Really not sure the pipe/silencer need to be changed as if i remember well they are produced by doma racing.

So ; suspensions, ignition mod/porting/vforce/jetting, done wink

If you've got some money to spend, I'd suggest going to a mx school by someone who knows what they're doing. It will improve your lap times better than any mod.

Should have bought a 250. There is no replacement for displacement.

The older I get, the faster I was.

Trade it in for a 2020 KXF250 😂

The v force only adds reliability and no performance gain, and I read they sorted out the issues with the stock reeds so one less thing to buy.

125 and easy power don’t go together

There's just not much more to do with a KTM 125.... get the suspension dialed for you and call it good.

I have an RK Tech head insert on my 150, but that's more for low end power. We have a '16 Husky TC 125 in the garage, too, and there's nothing I want to do to it but suspension. Son has a '19 KTM 150 SX and, once again... suspension!

Yeah, and with the optional thickness gaskets, you shouldn't even need to modify the head... just adjust the squish with the gaskets to match your fuel etc.

The optional SXS head with assorted dome inserts and the SXS ECU. After that would be ceramic bearing kit from Worldwide Bearing in Little Falls NJ. David at Worldwide has the complete engine kits ready to ship. He also has the wheel bearings. Put them in wheels on a stand and they never stop spinning from loss of drag like the stockers. You will definitely notice the instantaneous throttle response with the engine bearings. I have done all the above to a sponsored racer I supported and the bike was a absolute rocketship. Did not balance the crank tho. I wish I sent it to Crank Works and had it done. That would have finished it to perfection.
