What is your dream MX bike?

I must admit, I love the MXA KTM 300EXC conversion. this may be my dream MX bike that could be converted to hare scrambles, etc.

What is your modern dream MX bike that can actually be bought/built?

I'm guessing AJ's bikes might be at the top of the list..

Going vintage could cause a melt down, so let's exclude them for now...

2-stroke is a toss up

CR250AF or a 2002+ w/ a 00-01 motor ...or a properly tuned 3rd gen cr250




2004+ RM250 w/ suspension, pipes and a blue printed/balanced motor..no porting or internal power mods though since 250 smokers are fast enough

someting like this..




4-stroke

2008 CRF450 w/ suspension revalve & exhaust system and rebuilt motor with longevity mods

2008+ RMZ450 w/ revalve and longevity mods




I like MX because its more rider than bike so while I think A-kit suspension is trick I know its worthless unless you're legitimately fast

either a 12 crf250 or a 12 ktm 300xc, I have both but have not ridden them enough to know... I have the suspension done on the crf by factory connection but have not ridden it since.. I will be riding down south next week..can't wait!

I don't know what sort of dreams you're having buddy, but mine typically don't have any such limitations. Giselle Bundchen is usually washing my motorcycles (carbon copies of the Ryan's race bikes... one for each day of the week) naked while unicorns roam the grounds of my private island with ten different outdoor motocross tracks and the most epic single track imaginable all the while I'm looking down from my helicopter piloted by Giselle Bundchen's twin sister while she's giving me a hand job. Dreams are relative, I guess.

Well since you took Villopoto's scooter of the table I would have to go with Broc Tickles 450 or the 250 2 stroke that was built for RV and he never raced.

I'd have to say a 2012 YZ250 smoker fully exploited by Pro Circuit, or a 2012 250SX, or a 2012 150SX. I'm hankering for a 2 smoker a ton these days
