I know we seen a thread like this a while back and I found it to be pretty entertaining. So I figured why not make another? What is the best and worst bike you've had and why?
For me, my best bike was a 2013 YZ 250F bone stock. Handled like a dream and was so fun to ride, it did lack on power a little bit. However, I never had a bike that inspired as much confidence as that bike. It's so fun that I still have it after owning two more bikes.
My worst bike was an 09 CRF 250R. Not because it lacked anything or handled awkward, it was just so unreliable and the notorious valve issues got the better of me.

Best by feeling is my new 18 crf250r but time will tell as far as reliability goes.
Worst 2002 Honda crf450r
In 47 years of moto there have been some real piles of junk and some really good bikes, these are just the most recent
The Shop
Best - 03 CR250r it's been the best handling chassis, engine & suspension combo so far.
Worst - 97 & 01 CR250r's rigid chassis that I never came to grips with.
I had 86 cr500 engine in an 04 crf250 frame, when it ran it was a dream, trying to start it after it had been sitting a week or so was a nightmare.
Best: 2007 CRF450
worst 2011 crf450r or 2015 kxf450
Worst: 13 yz450.
Worst : 2003 KTM 250 SX. Vibrated like hell , nervous at speed , unforgiving ride. Felt like a vintage bike. Fast as hell though.
Worst new 1972 TM 400 Suzuki
Best-Loved my 06 CRF450 and l mean LOVED!!! The only four stroke l've ever owned but that thing was just the best. I am also currently loving my 06 YZ 250. So much damn fun to ride.
Worst: 2003 RM250. Hated the forks and couldn't afford to have them fixed at the time. No feel, rough in chop, unpredictable. Never felt right on that bike and I blamed it all on the front end.
Best - Bikes change. What was amazing in one era, gets replaced by even more amazing in another. My favorites, as opposed to a single best: 1974 Bultaco Pursang 250, 1992 Honda CR250, 2004 KTM 200 EXC, BMW R1200GS.
Pit Row
Not sure if it's my favorite ever but right now it is.
My least favorite was my 06 kx250 smoker, great engine but horrid turning. I spent more time picking that bike up off the ground than riding it.
WORST: 1976 RM250 (had a real "stink bug" setup that tried to kill me. Often.)
Worst Bike - 2004 KX250F
Best Bike - 2018 RMZ450
Worst - 1986 KX250
Best/Worst - 1997 CR250 Frickin thing would outrun anything it lined up against but a dump truck could turn under it.
But it is set up for me, Scott’s Damper saved the day, and it’s pro’s far outway it’s cons.
Payments are 0 dollars for 0 years.(it has a damn plate!). 06 525 EXC
Worst, 1997 CR 250. Damn bike hated humans.... shook me so bad I had to get braces on my teeth.
Best 94 CR250 and 17 Husky FC450
Worst- maybe the roached out used 99 CR 250 I had. My fault for buying a beat up used bike.
Worst - '79 Bul 250 'Sang, as a Bultaco freak hate to say it but it was a real turd
Worst is a tie between 2013 SX450F and 2007 KX250F
Best- 2002 YZ250f. Just because I’ve never felt more comfortable on a bike. We were one.
I’ve had many bikes since then but always seem to be chasing the comfort and confidence I had on the yz250f.
