I have a feeling we will hear some more 2017 news breaking out of Germany this weekend. Surely people like JGR won't be waiting until Monster Cup to make their announcements... Or maybe Chad Reed set the standard for late deal announcements last year and Monster Cup is the new October 1st for the industry?

it would be strange if jgr would announce the switch to suzuki at the event were they supposed to represent yamaha.

I 100% agree. But, we have seen stranger things. I don't believe JGR is representing Yamaha though. I heard Barcia was not racing. I would imagine Yamaha team will be: Romain Febvre, Benoit Paturel, Brent Van Doninck

Maybe JGR has this race as part of their 2016 contract and have to go. Could be why JB is not racing but apparently is showing up. They support Yamaha at the event and then announce they are going Yellow in a week or so. Sounds far fetched but what the hell - worth some shits and giggles.
