I know of two brand new CR125s that have been sitting in storage since they were picked up at the dealer in 2007.

What are they worth?

You're more likely to get the answer you want if you first ask "to whom would this be worth the most" and then focus on them.

They'd probably fetch 5k if they weren't so dam terribly slow.....I've ridden a 2007 with some heavy engine work that was actually one of Jessey Nelson's bikes and it was still nearly new and it was a dog compared to the yamaha yz125

Wasn't there a new CR250 on here a few months back?
Does anyone remember what that sold for?

Pretty much any of them are going to need a 144 kit just to run with a 3 year old YZ for the same $$$...

Correct me if I'm wrong....

$1.50.... But if it was a CR250 $3.50..... Come on, dirt bikes or anything for that matter are worth what some schmuck is willing to pay for it. Throw $5k out there and see what happens. Throw $2500 out there and see what they counter at...

Or you can just ride well.

Go watch last year's Straight Rhythm wherein Michael Leib smoked a bunch of new team-prepped Austrian 150s on one.

As far as worth goes I think inflation has outpaced appreciation on this particular model. I’d say current value for a NOS unit, non-auction (or other alcohol induced) setting, is worth probably close to what the owner originally purchased it for, which I if I had to guess would be in mid $4k range.

It's a David Bailey tribute build... Not sure if those commenting are old enough to see it or know it. But, to each their own, in person it looks fantastic.

Seen in crate 07 sell for 8,995. 06 cr125 and 06 Yz125 are very equil stock. Look up the dirt rider test. 03 kx hgs pipe with pc silencer. Installed on 04 cr 1st, pound 2 dents in pipe 1 to clear radiator hose, other to clear kickstarter. 05-07 doesn’t,t have radiator hose in the way. On ported ,stroked 04 took too long too build rpm,s then had stronger mid to top. That pipe on 06. Off idle snap much stronger mid. More top and rev. Icat with rad vale, cheap leaded race fuel. Renagade. Honest 38,39 hp. But bottom to top. Oh there is some bending rear of pipe, cut a little off end of pipe and silencer. Then go destroy Ktm,s

Haha hammer, hgs bud 03 kx, Look At Leib. Those 02-03. Are slow. Epoxy the cases etc to make them run. Dement. At gp,s did well. 06. Much better engine 2 mm stroker, porting. At Millville. 125. Should be competive. And with 2mm ovr borre 22-23 ft lbs torque might be game over. That red framed. 04. Is Hot, side panels not.

Those restyle plastic kits look like Shit. The Suzuki one is worse.
Love the bailey rep. Would look so much better with original plastics

Yup 1st pair of pants used bright orange, blue. 11-18 my b.day bought my 1 st mx bike 87 cr125. 91 1st race. 125 expert I won, 1 st moto. 28th on the start. I didn’t,t know. That I won. Just passing guys a lot, 8 Lap race. I wanted to race more, Other classes only raced 4 laps. 2nd. Moto. 35th. Last crash landed upside down. Wideopen, legs wouldn’t,t move. For 2 minutes. I always do well in new sports, so that was normal.

The aluminum frame CR125s all suffered from not enough air. Honda probably just didn’t care enough to fix it.

It’s worth whatever your or anyone else is willing to pay for it. Find one crazy bastard willing to give $10k for it and that’s what it’s worth, if he asks $3500 for it and it doesn’t sell for two years, then you know it’s worth less than that. You just never know till it’s gone.
