Guy always seems to be crying about something, or other these days. I may not of agreed with number thing, but at least he was open, and up front about it instead of beating around the bush like a teenager on social media wanting people to beg him to tell his story. Either talk about it, or don’t. Leave the theatrics to the kids.

I feel like Cole thinks he is a bigger name than he actually is.. I remember when he retired he was saying that he wanted to get ahead of all the talk and rumours and I thought, are people talking about and making up rumours about Cole Seely? I dunno which brands he built up either

His bikes always look good though.. The 2 stroke would be my least favourite

Seems to me Honda gave him nothing but support during his racing career despite the injuries, perhaps they have recently declined his help or support for their brand (due to COVID-19?)...or taken something from him that he wanted to keep? Just speculating, have no idea what this is all about. Good on him if he now has a KTM, he can ride what the heck he likes.

I'm sorry but what kind of delusional bs is this? What brands has Cole built up that hasn't given anything back to him? Unless we're talking about some small brand that has paid him for IG posts or other advertisement i can't see how he can feel screwed over by Honda, TLD, Astars etc.

A few years back there was a good interview with Cole Seely where he details how ridiculous and expensive the whole Loretta Lynn's amateur program is. It causes kids to not race local events, stay novice for extended lengths of time, and makes the parents spend ridiculous amounts of money traveling across the U.S. The LL amateur event also causes local tracks to run so many stupid classes and age groups that is killing local MX by making the day entirely too long.

He went to k-dub and asked him for his number and was hoping that Fernandez was going to do the same in tradition. Apparently another rider had already asked and Cole gave the nod to that rider.

I honestly cant think of another 450 rider that I associate with TLD. Who else is known for TLD? I mean I think of helmets and a second tier 250 team. They were fine before Cole and after but I'd say he definitely helped elevate the brand and gear in my mind.

On top of that, after he quit, they continued to supply him with bikes and parts so he could live out his dream of becoming a Youtuber. Seems like a pretty one-sided arrangement in Seely’s favor.

This! Never understood why they supported him as long as they did. Nobody owes him shit at the end of the day. No one forced him to make the decisions he made. Never been a fan and certainly am not now. Best of luck to Cole in the future and whatever direction he takes.

seely has struck me as a guy that saw he was out of a factory ride and quit before he had to take a step down equipment wise. For sure not happy with his decision to retire
