Seemed like the dude had a pretty good line on self-promotion and buidling up a brand, then POOF. Gone.

Wonder what he's up to.

He’s been hitting up a few local WI tracks over the last couple of years. Aside from that, I haven’t a clue.

Missed a perfect opportunity to say you don't have a "cue"!

Ya I was surprised by that too. But I saw on their IG page that he came up there to get a YZ. Not sure if they just happened to be the only place that he could find one or if he hooked up w/ them beforehand. Either way, good exposure for them. They are good people.

Sweet Mother Mercy, give me a '22 YZ250 with a cone-welded pipe. (I know that Bill's pipe is stamped, but it looks cone-welded.) Holy crap, that's a good look.

I was just about to reply "Wherever he is, I'm sure he's riding a sick ass bike...." and then I scrolled past your post....

BQ has been riding bitchin' bikes for 20 years now, dude had style all the way back in the MotoNews days, anybody else remember the David Bailey bike he had to go with the ONE Industries helmet?

It's currently for sale too! I live near him. I run into him once in awhile at the local tracks. I also believe he opened a dealership in Wisconsin.

I always thought he should have worked his way into some kind of a media role. He was really good on camera.

The Motosport trip to the dunes on youtube is one of my favorites.

I always thought it was cool that Brett found a way to somewhat fund his riding through a means outside of racing, he was one of the first dudes to do it in the modern world of social media etc

He just looked like he loved riding so much which was cool, and never appeared to take himself too seriously.
I remember he came to Manjimup, I think it was Ben Townley saying in an interview that he has never seen a guy just love riding so much, just loved messing around, doing silly stuff like dragging his body down the straight, doing wheelies stoppies etc.

He always reminded me of what it was like when i first started riding, where nothing mattered other than having fun (just with 1000x more skill than i ever had)
