With everyone talking about implementing some changes from MEC to Supercross, I was thinking... What if they reversed the Joker lane concept and made it into a shortcut? Like a 4-5 second shortcut. You could only hit it once. But say it lets you bypass a rhythm section or something.
Passing opportunities. Would you take it to pass? Would you follow someone who's leading through it to make sure they don't get a bigger lead? Would you try to stretch out a lead and get out of the roost? Say a mid pack guy takes it first lap? Would this even work? or would everyone just take it on the first lap?
It's more or less the same concept, but is maybe a more aggressive option rather than slowing them down. Sorry if this has been discussed before. Just a thought.

Could be risky but fun to see....
The Shop
Like a transfer LOL
I like the idea to put it from the 5th lap or something. But we may see less passes, less agressive passes. So I do not know. Visually it may add something for TV, so why not? Maybe to be tested.
Granted, the guy in first would HAVE to take it first lap, the same could be said for the top 5.
