Jeff Alessi pulled a stupid, dangerous prank and every action has a reaction!

The power of the internet. How I tweet from Matthes went viral, creating such a shitstorm and a 56 page Vital thread!

How everyone can be judge and jury via the internet.

If you fcuk up, don't lie, admit it!, own up and accept the backlash and consequences.

The power of love for your kid, that can make a man blind to rational facts and come out with stupid accusations
that have only added fuel to the fire!

How a $5 dollar lazer pen can almost derail a professional motocross team.

How MX Sports handled this whole sorry affair in a professional manner and finally; Don't mess with DC!

How many people, especially Whipmeister can find humour in any situation.

Please feel free to add your own observations, comments?

I've learned that if you have a thought on an existing thread (or 10 existing threads about the same thing), you should always create your own new thread to make sure that everyone sees your thought. 100% of the time...

That after about 56 pages, one can almost have read about every type of comment on a subject you could imagine.

Exactly, after 56 pages there are no more genuinely new thoughts on the subject

I have one point that I would like to make which I don´t think has been made yet:
MXSports WILL follow through with it´s fines and sanctions. Unlike before with the lead-cases and other revoked point deductions, it seems like the nationals finally have someone who is not affraid to act upon disorderly conduct. This will no doubt be in other riders and teams heads in the future, and may get rid of silly incidents in the future. People will think twice before acting stupid or out of line. Be it on or off track! Big props to MXSports!

I just had a talk with my son about lying. Now that he is a teenager we went over everything he has been taught about lying using Jeff as an example.I also made it quite clear that whatever he pulls, his mom or i have already done it so he better be careful.
I also learned i want a green laser instead of the crappy red ones i have been buying.Laughing

if you're going to cheat, don't do it in public with a bunch of cameras

also, if you work for a factory team, yes its okay to cheat

If a MX rider apologizes for any mistake, nearly everyone will forgive him no matter how egregious the initial violation.

Someone spelt Jason's last name wrong in your photo Smile

Also in the back ground, is that a small set or a man? I really studied this photo way to hard! , the resulting lack of blood in my head made me post this!

What we haven't learned yet is does MX Sports permanently ban Tony from having credentials. It seems Tony Alessi went even further after his initial penalty. I don't see how a promoter can ignore after the fact further accusations and threats.

Everyone was trying to crucify Jeff but since his apology, they want to hug him.

I've learned we need another vital thread about it...

It'd be almost 100 pages if everyone stuck to one thread!

How vital members can't figure out that riders are responsible for the actions of guests, and it's not as much what happened with the laser but how it got handled that was the major problem.

How dumb crash and docmarten are.

I learned that there a few people on this forum who are as stupid as Jeff and Tony.

I didn't know that green lasers are apparently more powerful than red ones.

Whip's video will forever hold a special place in my memories!!! Damn, that was funny.
