Sorry this is very very vague
I remember reading a few months ago about some guy attempting to break the long distance record I think he was going to do it at a NASCAR event or something with Monster Energy
Just wondering if anything came of it or did it not happen?
I know details are very bad but just curious

UPDATE 4-25-2017: Alex Harvill's attempt at a world record motorcycle jump before the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway on May 7 has been canceled.
According to Monster Energy, the 24-year-old rider sustained a foot injury this week practicing for the planned 425-foot ramp-to-ramp leap in the Talladega infield.
"Alex Harvill is a tough competitor and will bounce back strong. A Guinness World Record is a huge challenge," Monster Energy vice president of sports marketing Mitch Covington said in a release provided to USA TODAY Sports. "We expect that he will be back riding soon and look forward to his next attempt at the record."
