Did the micro side plate numbers go out of style already or is it a outdoor only thing?
SX has never had the small numbers, though it's pretty much impossible to put 6" numbers on the side of a KTM now. Even 5.5" doesn't really fit.
In MX, the rule has gone up an inch. The GP's might as well do away with side numbers theirs are so small.
It's not that they were trying to copy the GP guys. Because of transponders BIG side #'s weren't as necessary as they once were for scoring. This allowed more room for sponsors which means more money.
They are the gay.
Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?
i like em. doesnt make the side plates look so huge. makes the bikes look more flowing or something.
Edited Date/Time:
I hated them at first, but then they grew on me. www.bikegraphix.com has some cool sets.

Checked out decalworks, factoryeffex, nstyle, one industries, throttle jockey, and a few others. Bikegraphix is the only place that sell's them. Why? Pro only look?
I'm still trying to find out what ever happened to Celtic Frost?
Is it true that they got lost?
Did you speak with someone from those companies?
Most likely they just don't offer them on the website since most pros aren't on the web looking for graphics.
Most graphics companies will do pretty much whatever you ask as long as you ask.
Oh and my recommendation......
