I'm going out on the limb here and I'll get some shit for this opinion. If Evans became himself, avoided the knuckleheads and spoke like his parents probably raised him to speak, he could be an awesome MX/SX commentator. He has knowledge of the sport, comfort with a camera/microphone and could be honest about any rider without fear of confrontation.
Here is candid moment. He's specific in his answers and naturally articulate. The reason the hip-hop persona is so painful to watch is that it isn't who he is, and he's bad at it. His true self is his future. I don't think he knows it.

After the movie supercross I just cant take him seriously anymore. Would be cool to see him come back and do good though.

All kids put on a show from time to time. Experimentation and looking for new options is life, we have all made decisions that we wish we could have done differently.

Tyler is a better rider than many give him credit for. As Bobby found, he is a nice kid and always has been. I wish him well in his upcoming season.

You seriously have issues. He was in a MOVIE, it was fake. I guess you have a point though, after Reed did that Thor commercial with the braap noises, I can no longer take him seriously... lol

I would like to see him make a comeback, but with riders like Hot Sauce, Red Dog and Burner without rides, I just don't think its viable.
