One of two scenarios…

Dear son,

You know, as a man you have to be strong enough to admit when you are wrong. It is better to do so than to live a lie and blame others for your actions. Son, this is what I hope you learn and can live your life in this manner so I, everyone else and you can be proud of your actions…

Dear son,

Some guy called me immature, so I went out and proved he was right. I was mad and felt justified in my actions. Son, this is how I want you to conduct yourself as you grow. I want you to get that participation trophy, I want you to disregard what others think about your sportsmanship and I want you to do what makes you feel good in the moment. This son, is how I want you to behave, be just like me and make me proud…

So, based on the replies, most of you feel Chad should be proud of the way he conducted himself and should use his actions as an example of how his son should behave given a similar situation.
