Who buys gear? Broke college...(had to pause there and laugh, moto kids in college...HA!)

so just broke kids? No its either the parents or, you guessed it, 40 guys who HAVE money to spend full price on a set of
gear.

So even though something is in with the kids, the 40+ crowd mattersSmile

and no, im not even close to 40

I look at Tomac's/Barcia's gear and think of the same situation the NCAA has going on. Many of the NCAA teams have gone to brighter and crazier jersey color schemes/designs. The new trend is very popular with kids/teens/players, but most adults are not fans. I like Tomac's gear most of the time, but occasionally it's a little too crazy. Most of my friends that ride also like his gear (we're all 18-20).

I've been buying my own gear since I was 15. You just get a job and pay for it.

I think that my buddy beat you out on that job if it was a couple of years ago. He moved over there and did a bunch of stuff but it just wasn't for him and he was also having VISA issues. From what he said, the guy who designs the MX stuff is more into techno and clubbing than moto.
It was actually only last year I think so maybe his replacement? Not sure... Would be a cool company to work for tho, great brand.

I would definitely believe the clubbing part... and if you told me he also had ties(intended) to a lsd taking hippy commune that dyed their own clothes I'd believe that too!

Never liked the Alpinestar designs, and never actually seen any on anyone at a local track. Does anyone where it across the the pond? I don't know. You think their U.S. Base of Operations would actually look at their sales figures compared to what their competitors market share is. Once they compiled that start hiring and firing away.

If his boots and bike weren't so busy also it probably wouldn't look as bad. There's just so much shit going on all over his set up with that wild ass gear. Bet if you put him on a stock kawi with black helmet and boots it looks a little better.

Im under 40 (under 30 even) and think Tomac's Astar Kits are pretty awful, like even the stock stuff looks way better, the stuff they had for alessi back in 09 was badass and even the custom jerseys they made for Ashley fiolek back in her factory days were way better than the crap Eli is running
