Choice of kit - the colours particularly? The guys seems to love wearing gear that looks like a patch work of as many colours he can find? Love it? Hate it? Is he starting a new trend or out of his time?

It's not really his choice what he wears, just so you know.

Edit: I am wrong.

Never liked the Alpinestar designs, and never actually seen any on anyone at a local track. Does anyone where it across the the pond? I don't know. You think their U.S. Base of Operations would actually look at their sales figures compared to what their competitors market share is. Once they compiled that start hiring and firing away.

From what I know, he's actually very involved in what he,wears. He hand picks a lot of his color combos, like his signature boot and gear.

There's a tiny, tiny possibility that Cole Seely's Honda/gear combo looks a bit better,

It looks like some shit costume that one of the "Solid Gold Dancers" would have worn. For those of us who are old enough to remember that crap....

Maybe he is color blind and none of his people have the courage to tell him the gear looks like crap? Grinning

Agreed. Simple and clean. Best kit on the track in my opinion.

It's fucking awful, every damn week.

And as to who's choice it is, he shouldn't be given the choice of something that looks so bad. That doesn't help their brand at all...

Who's lining up to buy that shit?

Other than the signature color-way, none of it is for sale.

Scratch that, I'm thinking of last year's gear. Some of the stuff they're running this year is for sale and some of it's one-off.

That's a good thing!

And it still doesn't help their brand.

I agree it looks like shit but I would be every bit as color-blind as ET3 if that AStars check showed up in my mailbox.

He probably hates it more than we do.

.....what if I told you that the Euro-version of the alpinestars gear is pretty clean and looks great

They had a job going a while back for a lead design position... For fun more than anything I spent a few minutes putting 3 designs and a few colour combos together just to see... I've done some textiles and garment work but didn't want to invest time doing the technical aspect, just visual.

Thought these would look cool, their brand is a little bit finicky because of the extreme logo variances... but it does favour the asymmetric stuff too...
