So I'm about to get a new 2014 250f ( not 2015 ) bike and I'm have trouble figuring out what bike is the "perfect" bike for me. I have heard many good things about yami. Also I'm more on the taller side for moto (6ft tall and still growing) and I'm a decent rider but not really fast. I'm a top beginner rider and C class I always get bad finishes. Just wondering what bike do you guys think would be a good bike fit me? And I'm currently ridding a 2010 kx250f
Thank you.

KX250F or YZ250F (if buy YZ250F, try to add 2015 refinements to bike)

Aside from transmission issues on some of the early 14 Yamahas the 250F is a solid performer and I don't think you could go wrong with the Yamaha. For an old guy like me for moto only the only choice for me would be a 300cc KTM, 300cc Husky, 300cc TM, 250 Yamaha with a 300 cylinder on it. For all around riding I would go KTM 350.

I like the lighter feel, the bigger hit and the ability to do a top end job on a two stroke without breaking the bank or losing my cool.

Yamaha's have always been a pretty good fit for "taller" riders. I bought a 14' and LOVE IT!
