All MXer's are superstitious. Its a fact. I guess its becuz what we do has a large element of uncertainty to it. When youre on the line you know you might holeshot and win, or you might wad it up and ride the ambulance instead. My superstitions arent too gnar, but i dont like acratching a new helmet. in fact i like to leave all the size stickers and "Made in Japan" stickers on my Shoei's. they must wear off naturally. what about you guys?
Shit did it again.
I never have my car radio volume on 13
If I do say it, then I don't do it, whether it's hitting a jump
or going out for another few practice laps.

Gas on?
Gas on?
Forgetting something.....
Gas on?
That and red flags, having to re-start a race freaks me out
always knock on wood before first ride/session
volume level 13 is a no no for me too...
stay away from tracks I have a bad feeling about
new gear of any kind, gets thrown on the ground before i goes on my body. period. gospel.
last time, in a hurry, i forgot about it... 2 laps later, on my way to the er with a bone in my thumb in 5 pieces and hell if i know, from how i went down, how i did it. no visible damge anywhere on my thumb, not so much as a red mark... just exploded it. had put on my new ONE galaxy gear, my new TLD helmet and boom.
Pit Row
Although I am becoming a believer in the "never say one more session" thing.
Last time I said that I planted my self into the face of a jump
missed a week of work and worst of all I had to get a sonogram
on the family jewels, never again will I say "one more time"
Now I just say, enough today I'll get it next time.
Oh, and I always have to take a crap 5 mins before the fricken moto starts... superstitious? or maybe just "squirtitious"
